@wattapassa Ahaha I know this place was real. It was so magical though. It was this forest place, and once I step foot into it the atmosphere was completely different.
@Katastrophiies its funny, when i listen to the album, suddenly, the guitar wakes me up, and i look around, and it is the most surreal feeling ever. its this manifest of all these strange, dystopian emotions we develop by taking up so much, having an unbelievabley short attention span, just wanting the "drift" of everything. only through music can we experience the puristic enjoyment of different frequencies arranged to touch me in ways i didnt know i could be touched.
how important love is and what it would be like if i lost my boyfriend, an how beautiful life is, every little thing about being alive seemed so big, it as amazing
huh?!? Better than "Our Prayer" or " 'Til I Die"? I think not. This is a good song..but it ain't THAT good! I believe this would be a good example of Hyperbole.
grizzly bear and animal collective both have beach boys-inspired harmonies, but they take the music to a whole other level. an improvement on an already great concept.
@lukeloseth What beach boys music are you talking about? I have yet to hear any Grizzly Bear or Animal Collective song with any tropical influences. However i do see you point on the vocals, but thats been done before. And i don't think you can really call it a improvement Grizzly Bear is just doing what works for them.
@MankerCamron Not commenting on the comparisons, but 'oh man if you've never heard a full album by the Beach Boys you should go buy one now. All of the surf-inspired Beach Boys you hear on the radio sounds nothing like the real Beach Boys. They were Harmonically and Melodically focused all the time, but those songs never became popular.
@bennyleejones I don't think Grizzly Bear would agree with that comment...fact is these guys today have x10 the recordeing capability's.Thats what your hearing. And hearing them perform live...its not as good as the recording.
how the hell do you play this on banjo! -.-

I wouldnt say that lol the beach boys might be what inspired songs like these =O

@bennyleejones Yes, but they couldn't do it and you couldn't compare it if it wasn't for the Beach Boys.
