Islam is not new term coined by Muhammad(pbuh), Islam is submission to will of one true God.
We believe all prophets submitted to will of God and hence Muslims.
Adam , Noah ,Abraham , were not Jews , and the Messiah not Christian. They all submitted to the will of creator and therefore all were Muslims.
Theres nothing called original sin, trinity doesnt exist, Jesus is not divine, thats the Muslim stance.

Do you have any evidence before the Quran and Muhammad that support such historical claims? A man name Joseph smith said the same thing about Mormonism, and Mormons. Just because people claim something does not mean it is true. I study religions at university, Islam is a big part of that, and I have never seen any historical evidence for Islam before Muhammad. Simply changing the names of Christians and Jews to Muslims does not make it so, you need to prove such historical claims with evidence.
