I used to be heavy into CED. Most of my efforts in the retro formats these days are with the LaserDisc, VCD, and DVD formats. I am, however, thinking of collecting the VHD format. Similar to the CED format by RCA, the VHD format by JVC was vastly superior (although it was only released in Japan).
@Watcher3223 Well, CED was only introduced to the UK in 83, the year before RCA pulled the plug on hardware production. It must be a GIANT pain in the ass to find UK discs and players.
I had one of those when I was little. Our house got robbed once and the thieves dumped it within 500 yards of the house, I guess they couldn't figure out what the hell it was

CED wasn't particularly popular in North America, but it was particularly rare in the United Kingdom.
