Thank you for sharing! For me, until a year ago, 38 years of harp playing totally self taught, all techniques discovered intuitively. Now, with internet, learning a few "new tricks" I never figured out or guessed how these sounds were made. Thanks to you and other generous "teachers". Hey man, the hand fanning of the air technique does similar stuff to the sound like a rotary Leslie speaker for the organ. Thanks, Respect and Blessings!
thanks yo just got my harmonica and your lessons are the best. But can you show all us beginners a simple song we can play too? if you can that would be so cool, thanks again!
This is fantastic! I have a harmonica that I am learning right now. This is very helpful. What are the most important keys in Blues harmonica? Thank you in advance.
Well there are 12 keys. Whoever is singing decides witch key to play in. Rock players like E, A, G, D So the harmonicas to use in 2nd position are. A, D, C, G. Jazz players like the keys of. F, B-flat, C
Thin you need a B-flat E-flat and F harmonica.
So if you A,D,C,G,B-flat,E-flat and C and E, Your pretty safe. I like the A harmonica. it's low with a rich tone, good for playing train songs... Hohner sells a kit with 8 common harmonicas.
