And yes, if my family received death threats everyday, shots were fired at my house, & someone attempted to run over my child, you bet your ass I'd settle the case rather than fueling the fan's hatred with a long trial. Contrary to what you might think, choosing your family's safety over revenge does not make you an awful person.
