Well I think that there is an Objective Reality after all, but we as Christ Mind, should not be part of the mess of Reality we now think Is. While I'm walking through the park I see trees, and they are objective reality, but the problem is that we give meanings to the tree which are not the meanings which the tree really have.
So, the course is throwing the garbage of our dirty perception of the tree, but the tree is still there, to be clear about that. :)

Forgiveness is a tool for all of us to get from the "nightmare" to the "Happy Dream". You are correct "fern". In Reality - nothing ever really happened - so nothing to really forgive. But we must be careful not to get "level confusion". We are in the Time/Space level and those of us still "asleep" need that tool to Awaken.
I wouldn't put forgiveness in the domain of God. You know the quote "God does not forgive because it has never condemned" (ACiM). So forgiveness would be needful in this world, and would be a reflection of truth; but beyond this world in God, there would no longer be need for forgiveness.

Guess the problem at all is that this reality of material is no illusion --> it exists. And all the laws of nature and the universe are defining this state of existence.
So we can assume or set as a premise that there is an upper state of existence, but that's all. This upper state of existence we could (if we had no metaphysic experiences) call illusion but not our state of existence because we realizing it on the same level.
