This is one of them village things as far as environmental and learned behavior goes. The problems that cause addiction may start even before birth. It can be inherited, too. It's easy to say "Jesus loves you". Curing what was inherited or learned and brought about by years of abuse or pain is much harder!

I enjoyed it more than crack or cocaine because it lasted longer. but there can be various avenues of help from addiction. Christianity has made all the difference for me. help groups, support, etc, all very good. abuse of issues that people face is very real indeed, i agree. key is to try to go down to the root of the problem to help heal the individual.
@EarthBoundBaby and natural remedies in my experience are much better than drug replacement therapy such as seraquel, which can be much similar to roofies when given a large dose, and drugs like methadone for opiate abuse.
people tend to abuse opiates like morphine because they have problems or issues, or commonly just to sink down, forget, and have a time of "mind and body float."
morphine and meth are actually quite different, very much opposites.
morphs are oppressive, depressive, and cause you to forget. stimulants like meth will make someone fully alert, goal oriented, clarity of thought, high energy, pleasant euphoria. @EarthBoundBaby and natural remedies in my experience are much better than drug replacement therapy such as seraquel, which can be much similar to roofies when given a large dose, and drugs like methadone for opiate abuse.
people tend to abuse opiates like morphine because they have problems or issues, or commonly just to sink down, forget, and have a time of "mind and body float."
morphine and meth are actually quite different, very much opposites.
