@ridzy1991 there are a lot of online sites, a lot of tumblrs made by very nice koreans! livemocha, hipenpal (where you can...as it says, get penpals) also, there are many korean text books, I advise you watch dramas so you can get the pronunciation right! happy learning! 잘 됐으면 좋겠어

Guys I am 45 and I will learn this language. trust me. I know a bit of greek that I learne d back when I was 25. I don't think its age. I think it has to do with a good ear-mouth physionomy, a keen interest in succeeding and puttig in the hours and relationships with Korean friends. That is my recipe.

That's because Russians decide to pick Korean as a language to learn because Russia is closer to Asian countries . And a Russian girl told me that, so that must be true . @missbarbie2011 but compared to a lot of asian languages, the language structure is slightly easier to learn. imagine you have to memorize all that letters to learn chinese, or imagine learning all the different honorifics/gestures on top of all that for other asian languages, some asian languages are tonal which means you need to memorize what word is what tone for every word there is.

old??? you're very young, and korean is considered by most ethnolinguists to be among the most scientific/easy languages to learn. You should be able to read with a decent speed in a month or two tops. A year in Korea should be all you need. If/when you go to college, why don't you look into some international programs in Korea... perhaps Yonsei University?
