This doesn't look as bad as every critic makes it out to be. Looks pretty fun actually... game play doesn't seem much different from something like Halo or Gears of War and we all know how sold out gamers were on those.

do you choose which side you play on (chaos or space marine), or is it you have one character for each side and fill the avaliable spots in the lobby?

Last time I played it was random which side you were pooled in, but it was balanced between the sides, they try to even it out.

hey, is it just me or would anyone else love to see space marine game 2 have a world with the tau and eldar as the opponenets. or using the first game idea make it the imperial guard again with the space marines to the rescue on a planet under attack by the eldar and then they wake up the necron.

I know what you mean. When I played Warhammer 40k table top I always loved the orcs and wish we could actually play as more races online.

There is no paid subscription required like WoW to play this game = )

You can buy it and download off steam if you do not want to get the hard copy.

Armor detail, and when you are actually in game the name tags light up differently, red for hostile, yellow for allies = )

@lihkan i had a bit of trouble like that and i attacked one of my team mates coz i couldnt see :S , and i threw a grenade at them, so they though one back (i dont have a headset, so i couldnt hear if he said anything)

At the moment the PC version has some latency issues. This makes online gameplay a tad frustrating from time to time (as you will see in my 2nd video). However the campaign itself would keep you occupied for a while. I myself am more of an online player, and will probably finish the campaign when I really feel like it. All in all I'd say as a new shooter game, this got me hooked. Not a lot of games has me playing hours non stop when they first come out.
