I am not fanatic at all...

After saying this one must say that this magisterial ensemblage is a testimony of Dame te Kanawa talent.

Having been given almost every number to win the lotto in life; i.e. predestinated to be a looser for having been rejected as a child, she demonstrated that people that realy love children can do miracles... She owes her talent (her voice!) to her biological parents, but her development to her adopting parents...such a paradox and irony...as life is...

A great tribute. I returned home from a trip to NZ on the lady's birthday and the flight attendants were saying she had gone back to London a few days before. They said it was bliss having her on a flight, that it made them happy to have someone of her stature be a great ambassador for NZ and that she was entirely human to the point of talking to them in the galley and being a truely delightful human.
