To be brutally honest, this band deserves a lot more credit than they actually receieve.

I've only just heard of them the past few weeks or so and have been listening to their material, they have so much variation to their material and they create some pretty emotional sounding music.

Comparing this to a lot of the more sucessfull/famous metalcore bands, these show them how its done...

@zelobinksy Absolutely agree, though i'm trying to take into consideration their new album which i just didn't get into. Whatever they had going here, it feels like they lost it. This song especially is fucking amazing, but the entire album is just great. It's one of those albums without a bad song like Appetite for Destruction.

I dunno, i really want alot more from their new album. I didn't even mind the political shit, but it felt 'meh' the whole way through.

this is probably their best song from both albums... and thats saying a heck of a lot. The newest album is great, definately worthy of Album of the Metal Year. Atonement was amazing and Ghost Stories (the song) was perfect. I can't wait to see these guys live, and I can't wait to see what they can deliver on their third album.

Nah - I think comparing those two bands isn't right - I loved Spineshank (I think they're back together 'cause Silent Civilian already broke up) and I also love S.C. espacially this song! This is a piece of pure art!

This band was created under the label Media Scare which is not as main stream as warner brothers, universal, or road runner. SIlent civilian kicks so much ass that it doesnt have to be big. Most bands when they get to big they kinda suck or fall out.

We all know Silent Civilian will forever KICK ASS no matter the fame!

@Alcoholica2008 They are far better than shadowsfall and killswitch. Their last trip to Vegas they played a tiny skatepark with like 8 people there. I ended up hanging with them most of the night, great freaking guys. Musically... They dominate both of those bands, easily.

Definately the best song on that album. And that is saying a lot considering for my money Rebirth of the Temple is Album of the Year material.
