Diversity doesn't divide. Diversity allows cultures to learn from each other and appreciate one another's presence despite the differences. I have met and know plenty of people who have been here for decades and still don't/won't speak English. I also told you that I ask the students/young people. Most see nothing wrong with their parents still not speaking English. La Raza makes their agenda very clear. Just go read their website. They're all about and only for Hispanics.

@gtfoomfg Things like having to spend our tax dollars to post things in other languages for people who refuse to learn ours, having to tolerate men standing in our streets like whores looking for work... and let's not forget the dangerous Sharia law could be coming our way. The only thing that any illegal deserves is to be shipped back to their homeland. There should be NO benefit for them other than what they have stolen from the American ppl. Amnesty is rewarding criminals the chance to become part of this nation even though they defiantly broke the law & spit in the face of Americans. Learning conversational Engl takes 3-5 yrs, Academic Engl takes 5-7 yrs. Children in ESL & bi-lingual ed go home to non-English speaking households thus getting no reinforcement of what was learned at school. According to the US Dept of Education, each scholastic yr costs at LEAST $8,000 / student, most of which comes out of local taxpayer $.
