U can tell who a master is by who his masters are. Sogyal Rinpoche's Masters were Jamyang Khyentse Chokyi Lodro & Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche (who were Manjushri in person), Dudjom Rinpoche (who was Guru Rinpoche in the flesh), Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche (who was Longchenpa in person). They were the heavy-weights of the last century. Al the presentday Masters hold Rinpoche so dear. Therefore,we can say just from this that Sogyal Rinpoche is a true and genuine Master. Dont be influenced by what others say

Also, I remember he was eating meat at every meal, having a personal English chef. Very ego-person. Great teacher. But not for me, I look within, and that time iv got a disturbing experience.

I met the guy personally,about 20years ago in North Italy. I v experienced his manipulations, and his partner tlod me , crying, that he chooses one at every workshop.When I asked why he does that ( he was watching a porn images in a magazine), he said that hes not a perfect Master like HH, but his teaching are genuine.

To me , if the teacher is not a living truth, yes, its manipulative and it can be dangerous. At least teachers like this one, discredit and offend the sacred Tibetan tradition

Sogyal Rinpoche, like the rest of us had had girlfriends, he has had a legal case against him which was by someone extremely unstable in mental health...these people are often attracted to such teachers for all the wrong reasons...if you have facts give them, if you don't, please state they are only rumours. IMO

Very nice how he does so spiritual that all his followers will bend at his lotus feets but the world must know what he has been doing and probably still is doing in his "holy" retreat in Lerab Ling, women that he raped all the girls that he went to bed with all the girls that believe in him and he manipulate in the name of spirituality in the name of Buddha. He should be in jail because he is dangerous. Pity that the French goverment does not take action and put this bastard in prision
