  • Waaaaouw. That was too awesome!

It wass laike, ha hu hi!

Friistyle is to god for me. waauow!

    The woerld ist crasy!

  • I've been doing chucks forca while in my school we hold the chucks up at the top where the metal is on the chucks well urs r string so it's different ur vid is awesome but holding them at the top gives more control

  • i have watched alot of chuck videos and this one is still one of the best ive seen.

  • kick ass video

  • very nice skills... thx 4 sharing :-)

  • geeza whats your take on string length and stuff i have mine the width of my hand cos its practical i think but then you see these pro chuck vids and they all about the finger width im defo all for hexagonal and string chucks to (used to have a bob mccormack vid )

  • i tend to use cords that are about 1 inch shorter than hand width, i got to the point that wrist-spins were so fast if the cord were any longer i'd catch the chucks too close to the cord,, plus, slightly shorter cords are better for keeping stable aerials ( well in my opinion! )

  • cheers bud im not overly bothered about ariels as i am more interested in using chucks proficiently as a weaponand im sure the last thing youd ever want to do with them is let go of em but i must say some of the shit you do with those does look top dollar

  • very cool moves.

  • these are just some basics,, check out my latest vid "Nunchaku:Back on track" if you wanna see some of my latest stuff ;) it makes this vid look like crap!

  • nice moves,

  • how to roll it on wrists ?

  • dude chain chuck's are hard and slow and those moves cannot be done

  • you can still do it with chain chucks, its just a slightly different technique

  • Thanks for this lessons. *****

  • great man ^_^

    keep up the good work

  • Well yeah I know you can do it with short chain chucks, but I have like a 6-7inch chain(the ones that are approximately the width of your palm)=]

  • it can be done with longer cords/chains but some moves just dont flow quite the same,

there's advantages to both types really

  • You can't do those moves with Chain chucks can you?

  • yeah of course you can dude.

store bought chucks usually have like a 6 inch chain, which isnt so good for freestyle.

but with anything from 2 to 4 inch its pretty easy with either chain or cord,

  • If your chain is too long there are some chux that have these rings that can open, basicly just cut the links you don't want open the rings with wrenches or whatever you have that can hold two points of the ring to pry it open, remove the cut part (which should be the shorter since your only removing about 2 or 3 links, then close it back up... I should maybe make a tutorial on how to do this without hurting yourself or damaging your chux...

  • please do that. that would help so many people.

  • I DO IT FOR FUN

  • very nice :)

  • I actually understand more what you were trying to tell me by centralyse the chucks and you make a good point about making are style...its good to learn new moves and all..but it must be about you...and if its about someone else...its not right...your last word made me realise how much you thinking is important to all of us...

Thanks for this lesson my friend...

  • matt dude your final word is spot on m8. your way of exsplaining your concepts is easy to understand and very helpful to everyone no matter what level they are at.

you rock m8, i got huge respect for you man

    peace out

  • Well informative, gave me a lot to think about!

One thing though, the 'gap realization' bit I didn't get. mind explaining what you mean by 'gaps'. I'm probably being dense.

  • what i mean by gaps is,

the idea behind it is that normally when your doing an aerial with chucks, you only think about keeping out of the "path" of the chucks,

what needs to be realized is that thinking about where the gaps are, allows you to plan where you can pass your body through the path of the aerial, such as the aerial can can in my last concept moves vid.

just try it out, when you do an aerial just keep an eye on the spaces between your chucks, it'll help you to learn some tricky moves

  • That was a great vid man. I'm much more interested in learning concepts than moves, so this is one of my more favorite vids. I follow some of these notions, but not all of them. I still have to find that right pair of chucks...hmmm.. Thanks for making this vid, I've favorited it so I can think about these concepts.

  • good job mate
