It IS fire flowers because when you thouch it you became fire mario that are shoting fire balls even in GUIDES that nintendo sent out is the name ''fire flower'' not ''magic flower''

I made a mistake, but it's still not a fire flower in SM64:DS. They're POWER flowers. They also don't turn mario into fire-mario; instead it has an effect on Mario similar to SMW's P-baloon. It turns luigi invisible, it turns wario into metal wario, and it lets YOSHI spit fire.

Yeah it isn't fire flower in sm64ds there it is cald power flower but i thinked in other games

on super mario 64 it has different effects, it gives yoshi fire breath, luigi can double jump higher and twirl around, wario turns into metal and mario inflates so u can fly around

@silverscottsman Really, I saw people finish the game like, 20 times, and not ONCE did the fire flower, luigi, or wario. BUT, yoshi DOES appear on the top of the castle and you can use the cannon that opens outside the castle to blast up. You can't ride, but you can talk and he'll give you 100 1-ups! Then, comit suicide. He jumps off! O_O And, you CAN only fly with the wing cap!
