  • I need help... I shoot in my backyard 50-60 feet from my target.... I have a compound bow, beginners, and 26" carbon arrows. How to I make my arrows fly more straight?

  • @Coaco98 adjust da angle of da bow :D

  • ok so he says evryone MUST be behind you when you shoot not in front and not on the SIDE

and the video showed me everyone standing in one line SIDE to SIDE with eachother lol

  • What makes everyone think he's "Asian". How do you know he isn't Native American?

  • @ImmortalinHim77 he accent isnt native.

  • Why is it that when a redneck says your bow will explode everybody agrees, but when the asian dude says it, the rednecks and hillbillies all try to correct him.

  • he might put hand grenades in his bow maybe?

  • never heard of a bow dat can explode...dats a call of duty modern warfare bow!!!!

  • hahahahaha I hate everyone always talking about safety first..... Thats all crap do wat you want to do. Dont listen to this person. You guys need to toughen up

  • You're bow can explode... Probably not how you're thinking but yeah, it'll explode into pieces.

  • do yo need broad heads for bow hunting

  • he says the bow will EXPLODE! No it won't. it'll break, that's it. There will be no shrapnel

  • on a recurve bow, if you pull the string with no arrow, the bow will snap completly in half (never pull the strign with an arrow on it beyondyourace,as the arrow could jam and snap and will dig right ino your arm that you'r holding the bow with)

  • what are you talking about? the bow wont break by drawing it without an arrow, it will break if you shoot it without an arrow... maybe thats what youre thinking about

  • lol bow could explode, must have some c4 packed bow or something usually they just snap.

  • @J0RDSKI well if it is a powerful bow and it breaks that thing ill go flyin

  • @J0RDSKI or you could cause irreversible damage to your bow limbs.

  • im confused about the dry firing part since i dont see how the arrow does anything to keep the bow from "exploding" cant any of that happen regardless since the arrow is only on the string not built in?

  • in dry firing the potential energy stored in the limbs of the bow arent transferred to anything, the kenetic energy then would resonate throughout the entire bow and the bow may not be able to handle the vibrations and snap the potential energy is tranferred when the arrow has left the bow string it's all physics

  • just to clarify: Bow stores energy in limbs, energy is transferred to arrow, bow isn't damaged by anything.

with dry firing: Bow stores energy, energy is not tranferred, energy violently shakes the bow with vibrations, bow can snap.

  • thank you for rewording my statement i have trouble getting my point out alot =)

  • As far as I know the bow wont "explode". It certainly may damage your bow, but I highly doubt it would explode. By the way expert village makes horrible bows..

  • i had it happen on me 2 times: one time, i just dry fired to check it strength, it snapped in half. The other time, a friend of mine did it, and he had to get stitches. i had to clean up all the splinters.

  • Wow i didnt know a bow could EXPLODE if it is dry fired lol

  • I dunno about the composites used in the clip...but other bows may certainly fail catastrophically when dry fired. Shards and splinters of wood are driven backward at tremendous speed....very like an explosion. The physics:- Stored energy in the bow transfers entirely through the bow structure when no arrow is available to absorb it. Bows which are already on the safe limits of the materials involved are overstrained and fail. Longbows, for example, which use heartwood in compression and the ori

  • LOL, I know what he meant, same thing as flying shards and force mentioned by some of the other guys posts. BUT regardless, explode is severe, its also funny when someone, anyone doesnt matter about race says the bow could explode if dry fired. LOL good video, he could have said could damage the bow, instead of standing there and saying the bow could explode, Man I love this VIDEO, I have an archery tournament on april 29 tuesday. first sports tournament I have been to. LOL EXPLODE

  • "LOOK AT DER POINS"

    He's so Filipino!

  • yup yup! Go filipinos!!!

  • fillipino pride!

  • i am tooo

  • FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!!!!!!! Holy shit, I'm still laughing at the thought of hearing someone yelling that on the line...lol

I've been shooting competetively for almost 20 years, and I've NEVER heard anyone yell that...lol

He talk about dry fires, but in a couple of videos he's pulling the bow back without an arrow in the bow. Big mistake, anything can happen, and that release he uses can go off, fail...all resulting in a dry fire and possible injury.

  • this is very informative for beginners. please stop picking on his english - asians are great archers.

  • lol ASIAN!

  • this guy just couldn't speak, that was funny...

when he said that the arrow is fast, he was right a compound's arrow is flying about 300 km/h and a recurve's bow is flying about 220 km/h , I've got one so I know how dangerous it might be

  • Can anyone suggest a good bow that is for beginners and intermidiates which is under 100 Dollars?

  • well around 100 maybe, i got a ragim black bear recurve bow. I don't know if it's beginner but i like it sofar.

  • dude if u find a bow under 100 dollars there usualy not much more when i bought my first bot it was a (PSE recurve bow) and it was 169$ and there was a simple wood take down recurive bow that was only 121$ wich is desient but there not much more than 100$ usualy a beginner bow is around 120$ to 200$ but if ur get a compound bow there like from 500$ to 2000$ lol

  • holy shit could u imagine if u buy a bow run home and shoot it without an arrow and it blows up and then u see a caution sign on the box saying "warning always put arrow in bow or else it would blow up!!!!!!"

  • yes, but if the bow doesn't shoot off an arrow, it can damage the bow

  • um... the bow will blow up? what... the hell?

  • The bow usually would convert the energy stored in the string to velocity in the arrow, if there is no arrow, the energy moves into the limbs of the bow, and could come apart.(though it looks nothing like an explosion)

  • nice point.

  • and it goes into the riser and really fucks up your bow

  • man i love this dude. there is so many unsafe videos here so that this was very refreshing. ppl listen to him and do what he tells you it's important ! ^^ you can tell this guy is a pro because all that safety rules should be used at every archery club or private shooting at your garden or where ever. totally TOP !

  • very true. but, he mentioned the bow will blow up. absolute rubbish. it can snap. not blow up

  • yeah blow up is a bit drastic^^

  • exactly.

  • when u have an arrow, all the energy goes into the arrow, without it, it has nowhere to go

  • i had this cheap bow from wal mart i puled back the string and te bow snapped in half

  • probably toos hort for you

  • the youth bows they have at wal mart r 4 lil kids and have like a max draw of 24 "

  • All that energy that would have gone into the arrow has to go somewhere. Huge amounts of shock and vibration can put excessive strain on the bow.

  • Rambo wouldn't listen to this safety bullshit.

  • lol!!!

  • yeah don't listen to it and let me shoot an arrow when you stand next to my target. yeah thats really intelligent -.-. an arrow can too easily be reflected by something on the target. it can even come back to you by hitting something, i saw that on a tournament once. if you want to throw a bad light on archery by not taking safety "bullshit" serious and hurt someone go on...

  • @HaashimUK Rambo sat through years of bullshit like this before becoming a green beret. thats why you wont ever be like Rambo'

  • ive dry fired a bow on accident and i too was lucky it didnt get damaged. the bow was a little too heavy for me to pull and when i got it all the way back and BOOM. Make sure you never dry fire a bow.

  • I accidentaly dry-fired my bow and I was lucky not to have damaged my limbs I pulled it back to show someone and my hands were damp and BOOM. The strings came off the cams and I had to take it to the shop to get it looked over. Now I will never pull it back unless it has an arrow in it. I was almost a dangerous lesson and a costly one. Had Dave at high country archery look at it.

  • thanks

  • need some tips?

  • i've always wanted to learn how to do this. this was actually very interesting an informative. thank you very much!
