a good yoyo to start off with (if you're doing 1A) would be a yoyo jam legacy.

if you're doing 2A i'd start with some yoyo jam sunset trajectories.

What kind of an advice is that? You think you can get better by starting with a Legacy? Get something that is responsive. A responsive yo-yo is good to start with so you can practice straight throws and start doing basic tricks.
