@666pagan The Italian dubbers chose to call the series "Gli Antenati" (The Forebears") because it seemed to them it would appeal more to the public than the foreign-sounding "I Flintstones". Besides, it would have immediately set the cartoon exactly in the era it was meant to be: the stone age.

yes, but we call this cartoon "i flintestones" (taking fred's surname), as we say simspon or griffin. not "antenati"
