Yes its true, I dont hate chinese stuff, sometimes they can be as good as "big names" (made in china or taiwan too), but they are as cheap as you can think: I buy it and after a few years it doesnt matter if I have to throw it out. But this car is very expensive, similar price than: Toyota Landcruiser 3.0 D4D GX, Subaru Outback or Tribeca, Jeep Wrangler 2.8 CRD Sport. So which one would you choose?
