Unfortunately, French knights idea of battle seems charging into british spear formations and into the wooden stakes planted by British Longbowmen... It's why the hundred years war actually took hundred years. Smart commanders which rallied the people, like Bertrand du Geusclin and Joanne D'Arc where the ones who actually made a difference...

(Knights weren't always happy to help either, with the king trying to centralise the goverment).

Yes. A british general in the hundred years war is a tacticien. But the french general are more like a leader wo need to prouve there courage to he's men. So, it's why the brits pwnd use. When the french go for battle, the english go for war and prepare the battle more smartly than the french.

If the english aren't so smart in battle, england would been french during a long time ! Hopefully for the england, they have one the most professional army in medieval age =)

The tempo si far too fast, and too much drum is used. Unfortunately, courts had more sedate music, unless dancing was called for, (and even then). The piece is good, but generally too modern.

Mind you, it's just my opinion, so who cares.

play the game on expert and youcan never rely on auto battle you always lose. when i fight i did a game of 600 armenian units mostly archer and strong cavarly no infantry vs turkey 2500 mixed army and i beat them twice

I wish they kept the artistic depiction of units in their strat map description like in Medieval 2, rather than 3D models. Not a biggie though.

I love this song, but this is not french court lol. This song appears in the eve of battle, any time you attack a enemy and when you need to choose wether to battle on map or let the computer calculate the battle, this song appears. So this is not french court it is universal battle music
