I don't think I've ever had to integrate arcsec before!

I just found a way! One could invert everything so that you're integrating the sec(x) rather than the arcsec(x). One could find the anti-derivative of sec(x) by parts, and then subtract that from the box you get when you take xsec(x). xsec(x)-sec(x)^(-1) should equal the integral of arcsin(x), you just need to be careful about inverting x & y and staying in domain restrictions. "^(-1)" means the 1st antiderivative.

I really doubt this problem appeared on your curriculum. It's #19, odd, likely in the back of the book. In fact, the solution to such an inverse trig integral isn't pretty, simple, nor easy to find. I doubt it would be found in the course of a normal calculus text, it was probably contrived to look "hard".

My book had a website that had the solutions to the even numbered problems online (or odd numbers, I don't recall). The same answers were in the back of the book, but the solutions were online, so I could see how the answer was reached.

This reminds me of my first calculus instructor.  To make a long story short, he wasn't worth a shit, therefore I didn't learn shit!
