  • actually the title of this balled would translet to "the king Blakman" as Blakman was the name of the person which this balled is about. I do however understand why the word blak would give you assosiations to something pale/white

    This is a Danish variant known as Gote-Danish, natively Gøtudanskt. it's the name of this perticualer Faroese accent that sounds so Norwegian language like. it's biggest useage is in these sort of songs old by Danish or Norwegian origins e.g. Sinklars Vísa.
