lol i hate taking the side of that idiot patcorndoggy, but he is actually right, the 8600 GT is actually a good card (only when overclocked) it can actually run crysis normally beleive it or not. I currently have a 8500 GT and i have a 24in. T2400 samsung, and its working perfectly, and im also running bioshock.

people always look at the graphics card, imo, i pay most attentoin to the memory, thats the hardware that gives the most improvement in hardware, this is just my opinoin.

No you don't. I have the 4870 1GB (overclocked to the max) and only get around 35FPS average at 1440x900 on enthusiast in DX9.

It's not like there's variation in the performance of the 4870 from one card to another. All I'm saying is, it's HIGHLY unlikely that you're getting 50FPS at that resolution when I can't even touch 35 at 1440x900 with the shit clocked out of my card.

Well for one i said 40 fps average, but it doesnt go much higher, and it can go as low as 20.

But I am also runnnig directx 9, incase you didnt realise, runs alot better on dx9, with vista the performance did drop quite a bit.
