@duncan7599: You're dumb if you think that you could beat a REAL Marine at shooting when all you've done is play video games for the majority of your life. Marines ACTUALLY fire weapons. You just sit at home and go "pew pew pew" while pressing a button. Playing games is nothing in comparison to real life. Just a heads up, DON'T go to a Marine boot camp with that mind frame of yours. You won't last.

@duncan7599 .....Call of duty is a HORRIBLE comparison to real life. A Marine sniper could put a bullet between ur eyes from 2 miles away, Call of duty has no realistic bullet drop, wind direction, or anything, you shoot straight and hit. So SCREW CALL OF DUTY NO ONE GIVES A FUCK!

@rick11720 The world record sniper kill was from 1.54 miles away. It was made by a British Army sniper. It was actually two consecutive kills, with the kill shot being in the upper chest area both times. I have a great amount of respect for the Marine corp, but I have very little respect for kids who think they know everything about the USMC. Not meaning to tirade you, just try to fact check that kind of stuff.

The 60 mph is like a safety threshold,like the 5-minute time limit(to prevent losing a limb because the harness pinches off an artery. Also,SPIE is a part of the job.Infantry MOS's(03) are most likely to become HRST-qualified,but also Intel,and,occasionally,aviatio­n MOS's may also become qualified. Do those answer your questions?

BM4A-I used to be a HRST Master,teaching this,fastroping,and rappelling....SPIE extractions are to last no more than 5 minutes,and is to get the troops from an area like jungle,etc.,and then land later to allow the troops to board the aircraft...airspeed is not to exceed 60 mph,and there has to be 250 feet clearance between the lowest man on the rope and the tallest obstacle in the area...
