  • I kno ur busy but out of all the vlogs im subscribed to yours was the only one i watch religiously and genuinely cared about the daily update. Its been a week and Im sure Im not the only one who misses u and the boys. Hows ur pregnancy going?

  • @mzdiplomat1 Thanks hun!! Couple of new vids posted today and tomorrow.

  • What an adorable boy.

  • i looooove persimmons! you can eat them when its hard if you like bittersweet fruits/ eat them when they are soft if you like your fruits super sweet. my favorite way to eat them is to put them in the freezer for about 30-40 minutes when they are super soft~ it's amazing ^^ they are also great to eat when you have cold/flu

  • Yeah they are called Brussle Tops... My Dad loooooves them , we get them from our Market all the time.

  • Wait until the persimmons feel like pudding, those are not ripe. :)

  • wow, those coconuts look excellent, and what a price. Here each are over 3.75 each-only in Canada eh!!

  • Melissa, I noticed your son has glasses and I was wondering if you have ever looked into alternatives to natural vision, etc like the bates method and such? My daughter is 7 and had her first real eye appt today and they said she needs glasses -1.00 in one eye and -1.25 in the other with atigmastism in both eyes. I am reading alot that glasses only make the eyes worse and knowing your also into natural health curious what you think. I am thinking to hold off on the glasses until we try bates.

  • @guestaccount26 Isaiah has Amblyopia AND Strabismus where he has a weak muscle that causes his one eye to cross and has therefor lost almost all vision in that eye, he is legally blind in his left eye. We have been doing the patching and seen some improvement in the lazy eye and he says his vision is getting better, we are also doing the ophthalmic exercises which is all a better option to surgery which wouldn't really do much anyway. Isaiah is -3.50 and -3.00 pretty bad so glasses allow to see

  • But I will be looking up the bates method for sure thanks! With Isaiah having such bad vision, I believe the glasses allow him to not lose anymore vision as he might without them. But I do know when he takes em off he wipes his eyes for a long time and I know they cannot be good but he does need to see. The whole thing breaks my heart, I cried for weeks when I found out he needed glasses and saw poorly. But I give him lots of fruits and veggies and hope for the best!

  • How do you properly peel/cut a kiwi? Also, how can you tell a kiwi is ripe? What about pomegrantes?

  • @guestaccount26 the kewi are the best when they are soft to touch but not smushy. not sure about poms. I just get em not soft and really vibrant reddish.

  • You are going to fall in love with persimmons.

  • @DemeterSearches WAIT to eat the persimmons! I have a video I posted the other day about them being a great mono meal.

  • That is a really good deal on the oranges. Not such a big deal that they are not organic. They have a thick skin on them!

  • I love persimmons.

    Have a nice day.

  • @astu3 are these better to eat now or to let soften a bit?

  • Great haul.Wonderful price on the oranges!!

  • i cant wait to see what you think about the persimmons

  • The best persimmons are the hachiya persimmons you let them get super ripe sometimes it even looks like they are going bad because they get soft black spots. When they are ready they are so good the sweetest fruit. One thing with hachiya persimmons is that if you eat it before they are ready you will get a dry/ furry taste in your mouth and probably will hate them ( happen to me for a while) the ones you got are the ones you can eat like a apple

  • they're called FUYU Persimmons. You can eat them like a hard pear (they are good this way) or let them ripen and then they become very soft. You can also juice them when they are hard too, but if they are soft they should be blended!

Plus....your boys remind me of our two boys when they were little! They used to be in the kitchen day IN and day OUT helping us juice everyday...now they are 27 and 25, still JUICING everyday now, but this time, one juices for his wife and the other, for his gal!

  • @linmira THANKS! So glad to have found out about the power of raw living foods and to share that with my children at such a young age. It has been a challenge at times but look where they are now, juicing their own at 6 years old!

  • I love that you asked him about the mess on cammera.. I bet you got much better results that way ;) ha ha. Once again his intuition was to give his mommy juice.. even though she has a baby in her tummy (or maybe because she does)trust your instincts..you are so in touch. the people commenting on it are not at your same nutritional level. Dont worry that your baby is not getting toxins lol. You are doing great! Dont doubt yourself! I wish I knew half of what you know when I was pregnant

  • those dont look ready to eat.. they should be soft like a tomato persimmions make me and my one sons mouth feel so wierd.. it makes our whole mouth dry up.. my other son does not have that same reaction... jack fruit from asian markets are AMAZING! even if you dont like durian you will love jack fruit!

  • You eat persimmions skin and all like an apple. When they are soft like a ripe peach they are good. They should be really sweet and juicy. The ones that grow where I live in Italy have no seeds. Not sure if all varities are the same.
