As far as I know all versions of Anime Studio can import 3D objects, even the early version, MOHO.
Check out your A.S. tutorial 6.8 for more information.

I haven't done anything with 3D in AS pro yet, but it looks nice here. Did you texture your objects in UVmapper or does Wings do that too?
