hey nice video i have 3 black moors one is small and the other 2 are big and all over 1 year. i havent change the water in a while but i saw the bigger one nudging the smaller like that but i didnt see any eggs released any advice ?

@tuber123600 Sounds exiting :) ...all i ever did was give them clean water every week, like reccommended to all goldfish keepers. The mating allways begin when they are ready, but false alarms happen too sometimes. Lately my youngest calico fantailvhave taken over the egglaying, but not as often as the big orange fantail.

@TheDurazzo The measurements are 100cm x 50cm x 50cm (LxHxD) and i have 5 Fancy Goldfish. The tank does not look like this anymore. See my other video "My attention seeking Fancy Goldfish..." for the current look of the tank.  :)

@ThePlakatfighter The only advice i have, is keeping your fish happy. That means a big enough tank, Clean water, good quality foods and regular waterchanges. if you do that and have both male and female goldfish, then there is good chances of them breeding. Small partial water changes EOD with 1-3 degree colder water, might trigger spawning too, if they are ready!

@kevinvega141 She is still alive, but have stopped laying eggs. When she did lays eggs, she did so every month and 2-300 every time...she did that for years :)

@kevinvega141 Im sorry, i dont have any expierience with Platys, but i would make sure the water quality is ok by making a big waterchange. Often new tanks/filters are not cycled and therefore cant neutralize fishpoop. Then you should try writing in you local aquarium forum for platy advice maybe?

@gumdrop814 If your tank is big enough, you feed quality foods, keep good water quality and have both a mature female and a mating happy male, then you have good chances :)

Well you can see the eggs in video, about 1mm in size/ size of a pinhead.

Visit thegab. org, they have a nice tutorial with pictures on how to identify the gender on goldfish.

Your tank size should be ok for a couple or 3 fancy goldfish, if the fish is not huge. :)

Yes they can.....mine do that often :)

Sometimes they eat all the eggs, but other times i see little fry in the tank 3 days later.

Eventually they get eaten too.

I dont have room for more goldfish :D

It can be many things.

The most dangerous problem can be ammonia burns from poor water quality.

They die from that if proper conditions are not established.

I reccommend you go to kokos goldfish forum or thegab,org and post pics and learn more about goldfish.

The fish "wiggle" her tail when she swims through plants and such and

I only ever had one veil tail and it was beautiful.
