  • bad-ass

  • Insert coin! FTW!!!!

  • 00:56 OMG YOURE BURNING THE SHIT OUT OF THAT GIRL!!!!!

  • uh, did they add their own aliens? most of those i never seen in the movies.

  • there is no excuse for this game to not be available today somehow, someway. Stay Frosty

  • wow....i remember when my mum bought me this game...my gold childhood :)

  • good gameplay...ya nobody escapes from the alien's touch.....so u get touch once or twice

  • Great job! Like you, I use to play this game all the time—every day after school. One strategy I'd recommend you try is on the second APC level. You've got 2 grenades and there are 2 instances with double barriers. That's when a blue and purple alien (that shoots balls) appears. The grenade gets them both in one shot every time. You should be able to finish that level without getting hit.

  • Kill them with FIRE!!! Great Play!

  • i played this on mame it was really fun, even though i was looking for the lightgun one

  • @ltsonic1

FYI... the light gun one you are hunting for is titled: "Alien 3: The Gun". It is a good game, too. Follows the movie pretty well, not as much creative license used in Alien 3 as they did in Aliens arcade. It is a little too easy, though. My 4yo daughter and 6yo son can complete Alien 3 in about 15 min.

  • my parents had an arcade shop and i was addicted to this game when i was 6 years old. thanks for sharing this amazing video. great memories!!!!

  • But yeah, hate to double post, but video games nowadays suck. They just focus on graphics and graphics ain't shit without no gameplay. The last game to come out with great gameplay, music, and graphics was Silent Hill 2. Other than that, ALL video games nowadays suck!

  • Damn this was such a good game. I remember being like 4 years old trying to beat this when it was first released to Arcades. It's a shame the closest we ever got to a home console version of Aliens was Resident Evil 2.

  • @JPerez9011

How was Aliens anywhere close to Resident Evil 2 or vice' verse? Was there come kind of easter egg in it that allowed you to play the game that I don't know about? There was an AVP game released on the SNES that was like a cross between this Aliens and the AVP beat 'em up arcade, but still didn't do the Aliens License any justice though. Konami really did screw up when they decided to not port this to either of the 16 or 32 bit machines. SNES would have been a perfect platform.

  • @cdw626

Um.... hmmmm let's see....... a creature running around shooting a smaller creature into unsuspecting victims mouths and the creature later popping out of the victim's chest. Claire Redfield taking over as a surrogate mother for a young orphaned girl. Coportation coverups that went as far as eliminating everyone for a bio-weapons division. That's what I mean. Maybe if you play Resi 2 and watch Aliens, some of the similarities will smack you in the face, kid.

  • @JPerez9011

Um.... Okayyyyyyyy let's see...... you're talking about the movie now, that's a different story. I understand what you are pointing out there, but your previous comment was directed towards the games: i.e. "the closest we ever got to a home console version of Aliens was Resident Evil 2." The arcade game of "Aliens" was not at all similar to "RE2".

Oh and, it's not "kid" either, thank you. I was around 15yo when "Aliens" was released to the arcades so I have 10+ years on ya, kid :)

  • So if You want to start a flame war, go to someone that is into that kind of stuff. Otherwise, the only flame wars that I get into is about Glitches on Playstation Home and trying to join the glitch club of Exouds on Playstation Home.

  • Good gear !

It's a quality game from konami, which has a few things that are different depending on whether you play the japan version or the western version.

You will like the verified world record replay that is on my account,Aliens, (score 1,695,200 )1 credit complete(PLAYER GEMANT)both loops .

  • probably a decent game, but i agree, too much creative stuff there, when did people that got facehugged turn into chestburster spewing/throwing zombies?

also the blob aliens werent a good idea

  • Cool..... good gameplay

  • Ripley had the "Crouching Shot" on Lock in this Game. She could practically slide around bustin' off all day lol!!! I love this game.

  • The best "Aliens" arcade game, next to the "AVP" beat 'em up arcade game. The only complaints about this game is a just a LITTLE too much creative license was used in the creature design. Especially the morphing blobs to alien. I mean, come on, they could have made the blob a shadow and had the Alien bust up through the floor to attack instead of the blob turning into an alien and they would have been much more true to the movie in that area. BUT still a great game. Definite coin swallower.

  • to me it looks like they busted out of coccoons or something.

  • oh my god.. i´ve never seen that game before! it looks soo nice! (ok, aliens r purple and so..)

there are different types of aliens as seen in the movies... nice!!! i like it.. it fits very well...............!!!!!!!!!

  • We need this on xbox live !! NOW!! Petition!!

  • @TheBelva85 I agree. XBOX live got Ninja Turtles Arcade game, it would make sense to have this game on there too since this is also another Arcade Konami games.

  • @WarshipAngelus jsut because its Konami doesnt mean it should be on the XBox, do you even realize how many Konami games came out on Nintendo systems? ALOT, many more than your little XBox and its RROD and various other manufacturing flaws

  • @Lavos2007

Listen Lavos, I'm not a Fan boy to any system, but I did notice that the Ninja Turtle arcade on XBOX 360 look and feel almost like the real thing, I'm really more of a PS3 Fan boy myself since I'm on Playstation Home almost everday when I'm not at work or at a friend's house or chilling with the ladies.

  • You can give me your mail in order that you spend(pass) the file to me porfavor

  • It seems like a good game for arcade, but what is the first boss, that crawing thing with the long neck, meant to be? And also, how come there's like human things firing at you around 05:45? But it's generally a good video

  • The music was what got me about this game - yes, it was a terrific use of the Aliens franchise, no question, but the atmosphere that the music added really made the difference. Thanks for the post.

  • i played this game 12 years ago that game was amazing thanks for the memories though i never understanded why the aliens were purple and the chestbusters green hahahaha still the game was great

  • We all are longing for a fifth alien movie but please, make it just like they did in batman (i mean: redo the saga 'cuz we need a good story-line). FOX people: check for all the sales for alien's and aliens' comics, action figures, videogames for all consoles, VHS', DVD's... (forget "alien 3" and "alien resurrection"). Take transformers as a base and do the math. If it's good, we all AROUND THE WORLD will buy it again.

  • No. Thank you.

  • (SIGH) Games aren't like they use to be! Farewell to the arcades, and now games are all about graphics, and have no medium or substance. Looking at this actually makes me cry...god I wish I could time travel back to my childhood. 10/5

  • me too! but luckily for you, the trip back to childhood is just one MAME download away!!!!

  • why? can u download this?????

  • well , yeah...

  • ok, can u tell how to get hold of it or send me a link that i can download it from? does it requite an emulator also? if so could you help me out?

  • U will need the MAME emulator, as for the games, check out Rom Nation, all googlable!

    Free arcade 1985-2000 games galore!

  • arr thanks so much, i have been dying to play these for years now an had no idea how to get hold of it!!!

  • @ShenSaiya

I agreed with you all the way, man. The games nowadays SUCK like HELL because all they're ever focused on is the graphics, but they will never replace the greatest moments that games back then did.

  • @Spriggangirl agreed, i grew up with a Gameboy (the original Brick with Buttons model) and an SNES that my brother had given to me when i was very young, i had so many good memories form the Console/Portable/Arcades back then, and it did teach me that Graphics arent everything, Gameplay is even more important

  • Good job changev. I used to get to the final level in my country too. I love this game

  • can someone tell me what console is this video game. I'd die for real if someone can help me so I know where to get it

  • I must have some memory defects, I was positive the Chestbursters stayed of screen and in the background on their hosts, and it was a little bloodier too. Maybe it was Bishop's side?

  • kick ass that was an awesome video. Kudos to yall

  • THat is jus like metal slug 5 ITS ULTRA AWESOME is it on game stores ?

  • thanks for bringin back great memot=ries, i used to play this as a kid, all the time!!! i heard the music once again and i freak out, and im a grown up now! hahaha, AMAZING music

  • shouldnt u start off with a pulse rifle instead of a smart gun cuz the smart gun is like a gattling gun

  • lol I wish I had turbo fire for the arcade.

  • fortunately, the smart guns Ripley and Hicks get when they begin have autofire, but when they get an alternate weapon, that's when the button mashing begins

  • Can anyone remeber the Kenner Alien toys and the comics that came with them?, I still have the Giant Facehugger issue and Ripley issue.

  • U Know the cell things that huge termite thing shoots at u what are they and what is the first level boss exactly.

  • i think that's acid (probably the other "acid" since it looks trippy)

  • Buen video juego!

    ...buenos recuerdos aquellos!

    (:

  • que honda!

sabes como puedo conseguir ese video juego?

    respondeme porfavor

  • wow flawless on the 1st level

  • I seem to have this vague memory attached to this particular childhood game of mine. We'd keep pressing one of the "fire" buttons be upon a "Insert Coin" prompt which granted freeplay.

Maybe the unit at the local pizza joint just needed some dusting off.

  • I loved playing this game as a kid, I would always head straight to this machine and spend quarter after quarter from my allowance lol

  • Good video.
