Well, the idea is really cool, but I have to say some things. The BASSIST doesn't play the bass line accurately, specially on the HEY! WAIT!...He has to play the same thing the guitarrist is playing, I mean, JUST that forced string. Above all, this is a nice cover. DO NOT CONFUSE mixing and mastering with your lame ears if you don't know that this session is not made in a PRO studio.

For just being an "opinion" you're being rather insulting. You don't see me going onto the videos of you playing the guitar or drums and saying how horrible it is. There is a thing called common courtesy, and even if what you are saying has some element of truth to it, you need to be a bit more considerate informing the person of what they are doing wrong. Dang, this is pretty freakin' sweet.

Instruments sound beatiful. Singer's pitches were just about spot-on, though she enunciated the words a little too well for the song :P. But that's not a problem at all, not everyone wants to mumble everything like Kurt.

I think it sounds amazing! Especially the singer and drummer. However, I think it sounds a little empty with one guitarist, especially at the solo at around 2:56 . Just a thought though, I think it might be better with another guitarist

All the musicians play along to the original mp3, and then the vocalist will sing along to the instrument track. That's typically how we do it. It's easiest that way. :)

Hey Ventris! Thanks for the comment. Yeah, we wanted to do something a bit different than a carbon copy of the original, so we went with kind of a hybrid version between the Evanescence version and the original Nirvana version. The Evanescence is completely acoustic and features a female vocalist. So we kept the original arrangement, and left the female vocalist to see what we came up with, and the results were very good, I think. :) Thanks for commenting!

Thanks Takuma! I feel that it's kind of a hybrid version of the two. Evanescence's version was completely acoustic with only the vocalist and guitar, and it differed quite a bit from the original. We kept the element of the female vocalist, but kept the arrangement of the original Nirvana song. So I feel that this has a unique character beside the two. Glad you liked it! :)
