@soundslave Are we talking 'successful' or just talented? Colin Quinn and Jim Norton are "right wing" and are two of the most intelligent, funny, and well-respected comedians even among other "liberal" comedians. I would put Nick DiPaolo up there too. In fact it's only when I try to think of funny "liberal" comedians that my mind goes blank. Andy Kindler is perhaps the only one.

@soundslave Jim Norton has had two HBO specials andColin Quinn a broadway show directed by Jerry Seinfeld. Not sure if that fits your criteria of what is 'popular', as if that is even a good indicator of someone's talent anyway (take "According to Jim" for example or if you don't watch American TV that British knockoff of "Friends").
