  • That shit better be made of edible gold or i'm gonna be SUPER PISSED

  • Haters are gonna hate it .

For games , women ( your beloved one ) and food you can spent as much as you want if they are worth it .

  • Since this is supposedly the best beef there, I would not doubt it's like beef candy for the palate. Might be worth trying at least once, if you have it to spend.

  • mc gold burger? lol

  • I had to take a mortgage to get a hamburger.

  • Oh thank god Mc sells those yummy 1€ cheeseburgers. It was so funny when we had a LAN-happening and I went to buy some 30 of those burgers for my meights :P The girl behind the counter was like "Whuuut? 30? Are you sure?"

  • i would pay $25 for a burger any day over the dollar one cuz i know thats gonna have real meat

You could make 15 HOME MADE burgers for 25 dollars here in the US

    That's a bunch of BS

  • But they DO have $5 food at McDonalds though right??

  • Look on the bright side its made out of real meat that actually comes out of the animal body its not that pink slime burgers we eat here in America in case you didn't know wonder why it was so cheap now you know :)

  • Why can't we get K-On happy meals :<

  • we can eat two bowls ramen, if have 1800 yen.

    ( ̄▽ ̄)

  • 25 BUCKS?! Geez... seriously ? On one video you ordered Sushi and it was 25 bucks WHATS THE POINT?

  • @CptEddyPrice Quality.. I'd rather pay $25 a week then $1 at McDonalds for some below par hamburger of shit..

  • @RocMSocMRabbi

yeah i know , but I said if sushi costs 25 $ and hamburger costs 25 $ then whats the point in burger?! Go sushi ! :D

  • @CptEddyPrice Ah yeah of course.

  • i want K-ON ....literally

  • Thats about the same price for a burger at a propper restaurant in Norway. A McDonalds meal is half the price (85kr or ¥1000). So when I go to Japan, I can expect the same pricerange (or cheaper) :)

  • I see K-ON

  • MOTTAINAI' that hi quality jpn's beef become a Hamburger

  • Sexy voice, man. ;-)

And a Burger for 25 Dollars, is great.

    I wanna try this.

  • What is the K-ON! meal for 1,500 yen? That isn't cheap either!!

  • I was watching a show on tv about ice cream, somewhere in New York at some shop they sale, $1,000 ice cream and gold.

  • @Zeoone yeah its from serendipity 3 in NYC! they have the 1000$ golden opulence sundae with real eatable gold shavings on it, you have to order it 48 hours in advance. I went with my dad but we both just got the frozen hot chocolate for 8$ much more reasonable and uniquely delicious.

  • i would buy it. looks good

  • What a waste of Matsuzaka-gyu.

  • but mcdonald's hamburger

  • K on!!! You should go back and show us that!!

  • @cokacutter The K-ON set includes chicken burger and fried chicken and small bag with picture of rooster. that costs 1,500yen.

  • jesus....us currency has really sunk... i remember where it used to be $1 > 114 yen D:

  • If I was there, I would have totally bought the 1500 yen meal is advertising the new K-ON! movie...totally worth it!

  • that beef is matsuzaka gyu; one of the best beef in Japan.

  • But do they toast the bun?

  • K-On!!

  • And that's why vegetarians are richer.

  • lol it wasnt very good. maybe you should moonlite as a food critic for your area as well :P

  • THAT K-ON! MEAL!

  • Yeah I went to Zurich in Switzerland and thats how much it costed there too.

  • That burger better give me x-ray vision...

  • lol i'll buy the burger for you for christmas

  • ^^

  • 25 bux for a burger? better come with a happy ending

  • @brabon1 LOL

  • YAAAAAAAY I prefer the K-ON one for 1500¥ but the 1800 is better NO I WANT THE K-ON ONE! >=D and its CUTE to so DOUBLE WIN <<<<<<<<< or something xD

  • I think it's the very moment when you say "....coming soon" when I decide, each time, that I will never stop listening to your voice! :)

  • 77 yen to a dollar,..so a 77 yen menu lol :P the would round to 80 for sure lol. Im shocked they didnt make it from kobe beef,..but then again in philly you can buy a 100$ usd philly steak with kobe beef!

  • @Nymphonomicon I think they have a 30¥ menu

  • woooh..takkai O_o

  • is it better then kobe beef? ??

  • Can you give us an insight as to why it's so expensive? Is that 25 US dollars? Given the current exchange rate, the Dollar is worthless yes, but is this expensive by Japanese standards, and is this a fast food place or a nice sit down restaurant? Sorry for all the questions.

  • @TheLivingDeadOne It's expensive due to the meat. Yes, it's still expensive by Japanese standards. It's hard to say, as it's a combination of both. In Japan, fast food places are not bad by any means. McDonalds is even nice! Try the shaka-shaka chicken.

  • @ArcticGTS Thanks for your comment but due to your YT page, I don't see as you know anything about the subject and my question was to TJCDcom. TJCD has replied to me before and I value his response and opinions. Thanks.

  • @TheLivingDeadOne I've been living in Japan since Jan 2010.

  • Freshness Burger is better!

  • I want that K-on happy meal i dont care if i send about $18 U.S on it

  • i just noticed the k-on stuff poster thing x) random .. 0:39

  • My dad had this Kobe Beef Soup..

$50/bowl. And it ain't a big bowl either..

Damn that stuff is more expensive than cocaine..

  • Have you tried the Wagyu (kobe) beef? I have always wanted to...

  • I went to lotteria(?) for the first time yesterday and it was the best burger that I have had in Japan so far!

  • That is weird there are more likes than views. lols

  • wagyu beef burger? i'd try it! lol

  • Great now I want one D:< well... just another item I've added to my "things to do in Japan" list.

  • At 0:26 you can see TJC's waifu in the reflection ;)

  • Oh come on!!!!!! Get it! I need to see it in action.... Tease!

  • Noooo, thanks for that shit :) I would to prefer some box of discounted sushi unstead of that...

  • HOLY COW (get it lol) Why is it THAT expensive?!

  • that k-on meal looked very nice

  • @16thesoldier91 you're only saying that cause it had k-on branding all over it.

  • $25!? Thank God for the McDonalds Dollar Menu.

  • @arivas713 I wonder if Japan McDonalds' have 100Y Menu?

  • whoa o.o the beef makes it more costly

  • @DudeFlu57 Figure that out all on your own, mate?

  • We have a burger place where i live that sells burgers for around 7 dollars, but they are huge. I can never finish one. Are those burgers really big or are they just average sized?

  • but the k-on happy meal makes it worth it

  • @Thismeaningtoitall Totally agree! =)

  • would you mind doing a video on all of the K-On! stuff around japan for the movie? that would be great =D

  • @tonyz79 I second that request. I've really been looking forward to that movie release.

  • i saw K-ON! in there!!!

  • Good Lord! That's a lot of moola. What could I get with $5 :p

  • @mdk036 hahaha u funnig maybe u can get a gum

  • @mdk036

I AGREE. 25 Dollars is a bunch of BS

i could make my own for less then that in the US

  • keion!!! what is the cost of a ounce of silver in japan in the states its about $32.33 im just curious because if something that is as simple as a burger is 25 commodities must be pretty expensive i would assume

  • INFLATION is a MOFO! Yes?

  • @leo00o83 Also thumbs down.

  • @leo00o83 Not clever at all. Has been said before.

  • K-On poster!

  • I lived in Korea for a few months and Lotiria (dont know how to spell that) is all over the place there. I think its a Korean chain - they got department stores too.

  • Is it made out of gold....? ^_^

  • @agentjfk i think the food with gold on it he once showed us was cheaper ^^

  • I wonder how many of that burger they sell per month

  • There's a restaurant where I often go with my friends, where they served a 30$ burger made from Kobe beef. Never try it myself but one of my friend did. Is there a big difference between the kobe burger and the burger from this video in term of taste?

  • @GirlWithAStarEarring I'm pretty sure ground kobe beef ruins the point of eating kobe beef.

  • The burger doesnt even look that big in the picture

  • ah worst is it is Lotteria that place quality when it comes to burgers, at least in the companies home country South Korea, it was horrible. I would just order chicken related items. Burger meat tasted like fake meat. But price was a lot cheaper in Korea.

  • I wonder if the cashier would give me a creepy look for ordering the K-ON kids combo meal..

    I don't care , DO WANT!!

  • Of course you can find a $25 burger in the US too, just go to any theme park! LOL!

  • Scratch this one from the 'Affordable eating in Japan' playlist. LOL! Sorry you couldn't try it for us. 'Food and Eating in Japan' videos seem to be a favorite of yours.

  • That's why they're healthy compared to us Americans lol

  • So 25 bucks for the best beef in Japan and 5$ more for ... fries and a drink? Uh huh.

  • Funny that people are tripping out about the cost of the burger but will defend to the death the American health care system. Much of what Americans eat is engineered to be ultra cheap/tasty on the front end. Just wait until you get the Med bills though. Cancer, bypass surgeries etc. If Americans paid the prices the rest of the world did, we'd eat this crap much less often and would be healthier for it. I'm not a vegetarian btw, my point here is cheap up front isn't really cheap in the long run.

  • The beef is expensive because of Japan's strict meat regulations. From what I heard those cows get pampered and that's what reflects the outrageous price of a simple burger.

  • @5HREDD3R Not having a lot of open space to raise cattle doesn't help prices much either! Less space = smaller herds.

  • 25$ to get killed by food?

  • I need to keep watching your videos more often so you can afford to buy yourself a burger here there...LOL

  • KEION! :D!!!

  • japan inflation at best

  • yum must be worth the money XD must taste JUST too GOOD XD HEY i saw K-on thing muahahah XD

  • cool! there's K-ON! in the bushes

  • I'll pass

  • Wow, that's like €20! I could get like 10 burgers in Mc Donalds for that, then again I wouldn't because it's rank.

  • Beaf in japan is like Golds! XD

  • $25?!!! do they cure cancer or something? for 25 i would rather buy the biggest pizza in pizza hut, taste way better than any burger

  • I see K-On!

  • 0:29 reflection :D?

  • I live in Japan and the thing is, they taste good, but they are few sizes smaller than what you might have imagined and costs more than what one might typically see in the US.

  • OMG! why so expensive_?

  • I'd buy it if there is something notable or memorable about the experience.

  • Japan needs a Five Guys!!

  • 25 bucks for a burger?? For that price U should just ask for the whole damn cow

  • Wow. That's quite the price tag for a hamburger. No Big Mac, that's for sure..

  • i would not spend $25 on a burger as well

  • Looks delicious but $25 for a burger?

  • Why do people click the dislike button when he explicitly tells you to hit the like button?!

  • @ayendal Psychological reactance.

  • Comment removed

  • What did the k-on poster say?

  • I hope they didn't expect to sell very many.

  • Wow, can't believe a cheapo place like Lotteria would try a wagyu burger. That K-On poster surprised me because they seem to be everywhere.

  • Damn... I can get a meal for $5 over here.

  • marbled beefy goodness.

although I can get decent Aussie wagyu at the supermarkets here for $10 a half a dozen :D

  • what did the k-on poster/banner thing to the left of the screen at 0:35 say? :)

  • i'll pass

  • That seems very novel, and I like the idea. However, I'm poor and I don't eat much either. I can go an entire day on a 5 dollar pizza. Maybe some day a rich Japanese girl will fall in love with me and buy me $25 hamburgers. Cause, that's the only way I'll get to have one.

  • Screw that, go back over to Shooters for a burger :)

  • mmm. id be torn if i came across that. the idea of the burger sounds very interesting but the fact it is fast food and all; not worth it..

  • The lady working there looked like she was about to yell at you for filming her lol.

  • Why is a burger so expensive? Geez, go get some meat, cook it, chuck it in some bread with salad and stuff. There you have a $30 burger for $5 bux. Plus your actually full after eating it.

  • Fast food in the US is like 99 cents, because its made of ass and shit, not real beef. its FAST cooked....how can you cook good food FAST? you spend 2 dicks and 1 penny on it

  • I liked the K-On poster but no AKB48 posters?

  • Quick question mate, when you say Dollars.. Do you mean Australian Dollars or US Dollars? Because I get so confused when trying to convert it to the British Pound.

  • @lPrincelD

    Today US$1 = Aus97c ... so I guess either will do....

Obviously, exchange rates change every day.. so when someone watches this in 2012 my estimates will be off anyway..

the only reason I bother with the $ thing.. is because, if I just use yen, someone will always ask how much it is in US$...

  • Fuuaarr

  • How can a burger be so expensive? Is it because they're hard to find in japan or something? Surely mcdonalds would be much better value for money even in japan?

  • @teutonicpenguin It's the quality of the beef. As he mentioned it was made from wagyu beef. Try looking for videos on how wagyu cows are bred and raised, and you'll find out why they cost so much.

  • here in finland normal burger meals are normaly 6-9eur (623-930円) (8-12$)

  • Comment removed

  • for 1000 yen I got a towerburger at Loteria. 10 layer cheesburger with an extra slice of heart attack!

  • The most thing i liked about this video is K-On! poster :3 ~ :p

  • Matsuzaka beef steak is usually USD 70 or like that.

    (not hamburger though)

  • I know fast food isn't a concern but whats the price of like grocercy store habmerger, (I gess frys too.) I pretty sure I have the socialist resorces to procucing both.

  • I've no idea how Japan kept the prices at what they were during their depression

  • Gotta be better than the 3 dollar kebab I had the other night.

  • "There's a cheap one its about 8 or 9 dollars" LOL!

  • well 25$ seems ok for that kind of beef....

  • Id hope its good for $25. It doesnt really look that big either

  • K-on ^^

  • heeeeeeeeyyyyy guuuuyyyyyyyyyyyysssss!!

  • Lol, I saw the other video where you actually ate a burger from this place and I don't blame you for not buying these.

  • Tight, LOL ! Ever hear of White Castle ?? (-: That's my budget !

  • i want it just to say i ate a $25 burger

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, I can purchase fantastic steak and wine for less than that price!

  • As a Scotsman I had to give you a thumbs up for being "to tight to buy it" :)

  • Is fast food in Japan in general more expensiv than in the U.S or europe?

  • Sorry, I don't know the US and Europe fast food prices...

Check out the food and eating playlist and decide for yourself..

  • If I remember correctly, you have to spend a bit more money in Japanes to get stuffed than in Europe.

I like the idea of spending more money on food - assuming the quality is better and you put more thoughts into what you're actually eating and don't just take it as granted that your tummy doesn't rumble all the time. Buuut in that case its Fast Food so... can it be really worth that? :D

  • Comment removed

  • in A food court sorry lol

  • wow lots of money! but your only in food court?

  • I'm not cheap, but I was gonna stick to real Japanese food while I'm there anyhow, and, when I'm back from my trip, indulge on the BigMac and the fries at "my" local restaurant, two blocks from here.

  • broad day robbery
