  • I am from the boondocks....born and raised Kentucky girl !

  • Why in the HELL is an ad for LMFAO ALL AROUND this song? I can honestly say that I am deeply offended. IT'S A COUNTRY SONG ABOUT THE BOONDOCKS! Get the Party Rock A**holes out of here, and put in an ad for Eric Church (Who is also signed with Emi Music)! I don't care if I live in a city, I don't need to be bombarded with music ads from a genre I HATE!

  • I'm from Utah, but I still listen to country music and so do all my friends. It's all about where you grow up and the music that's part of it. Country music is a part of the whole country. So what if someone grew up in the boondocks and I grew up by the red rocks? This song still rocks!

  • Thumbs up if you dont give a shit on what people think of us and our country music!

No matter where you are or where you go keep your heart and soul with you Country music is what I love and what many other people love! So this is me and this is who I am<3

  • im from Williamsburg Kentucky you can't get more country than that

  • Eminence Missouri, that's a country town.....

  • im from Clewison Florida and thats what i call home!

  • Country? Pop? Who cares! It's just an upbeat catchy tune.

  • thumbs up for shoretest commentttttttttttttttttt

  • omg luv it

  • Honestly... country music is the last thing I ever wanna hear... I'm more of a post-hardcore fan (screamo as I'm sure most of you reading this will know it) but this song is great... the only country song i really like, I live in a small 'country' town in Virginia, but I'm not what you would call country... but that doesn't mean I'm afraid of bugs, or mud, or that I don't go hunting or fishing, so country has nothing to do with what you do, its about how you dress, and the music you listen to...

  • i love my little town its counry and a little city but me and my friends love to have country summers music bonfire every nite but i have a boondock rite outside my house boondocks all the way and i was raise country i know how to change oil and i love riding motorbikes(dont allow 4 wheelers on my street) but i love being half and half my parents raise me country church every sunday chores and ofcourse everything outside i wouldnt trade my life for anything <333333333333

  • @kit198807.. You know what they say "Country is Country Wide". Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaaww!!!!

  • i didn't '' grow up'' in the boondocks, but i am country, i call fire fly's lightning bugs, and you caught them in a mason jar, you got your own switch, sun tea was always in the fridge, and you showed respect to your elders, no matter if they were only a couple of years older than you. so , yes i'm from Griffin Ga. and i love that i was born and raised there!

  • i really miss those days of my parents bringing me to the bar with all our friends and me and my buddies fishing on the dock at night whiile our parents drinking and dancing eating fried catfish and gator that the kids where catching

  • I have been reading alot of comments on here and laughing about it I didnt hear rock or anything other than country or creole music till i was about 10 years old this music is what i like to call outlaw country maybe not all there songs but this one it has a swing to it you can dance to and an old bar that you would only find in the middle of no where.

  • haha this isnt even country its pop country try listenin to hank williams, hank jr and Hank III or waylon jennings

  • @dlachapelle2 I don't think this is "pop country." There's an old pick-up truck and a dog (not on a leash. Nothing country-er than that, if you ask me) in the music video. Oh, and square dancing and they sing about fishing and poker and church. Sound country to me :P.

P.S. I'm not being serious. Gotta poke some fun at some people. :P

  • How about this for an opinion, Who gives a shit if your country or not, listen to the song, no one cares if your "country" or not. Fighting on the internet is like the special olympics, win or lose your still retarded

  • @J1MB05L1C3 dude i nearly fell out of my chair after i read that LOL

  • @J1MB05L1C3 Haha best thing ive read on Youtube

  • @J1MB05L1C3

Dude yu got tht from random funny shit

  • @thekingdomass1 ? No i didnt? i dont even know what random funny shit is?

  • @J1MB05L1C3

That's one hell of a nasty thing to say. Why would you disparage a mentally handicapped person in that way. NO ONE participating in the Special Olympics deserves to be made the brunt of some joke. You probably don't have children do you? Well, it's my hope that if you do, then I hope none of them are born handicapped. You really should choose your words more carefully.

  • @J1MB05L1C3 haha omg cant believe you just said that. made my day

  • i live in the city, but i love listening to country music... i don't think there's anything wrong with that.

  • i totally relate to this

  • This is one of my favorite songs. The music and lyrics just makes me want to sing!!!

  • I have lived in the country my whole life and i love it! and you do not have to be born in the country to be it! its a life choice. i know people who have grown up in the sticks with me and dont know how to change the oil in a truck and are terrified of bugs. and i love mudding but i dont wait for the rain i just go out with some friends and flood a meadow and mudd till 2 in the morning!

  • your born into being country. you cant be country if you aint born there. it dont matter if you can do things like a country person. it isnt what you do thats country, its how you live your life. no amount of country music or boots or camo can make you country.

  • so attractive and talented. double win.

  • If the music is good, doesn't matter what genre they slap on it...I happen to Love LBT

  • and it calls to me like a warm wind blowing... YYYEEYAAAAAAAAA MOTHER F!@KERS!

  • I wish I lived in the country.

  • I was born and raised in the sticks down a red dirt road. I love God, Johnny Cash, working with my hands, getting dirty, mudding every time it rains, hanging out after dark by the fire, playing Hank Williams on my guitar and I LOVE IT!!

  • Country is in the blood. I was born in a small southern town. My Dad moved us to the city to make a living. I've been here all my life. I'm comfortable in the city but I spend most of my free time in the woods. I can deal with the attitude of aggression of city folk but I prefer the humility and good manners of small town southern people (not that I ain't met some real sonsabitches from the country). I like the smell of cow manure and I don't freak out when I see a rattle snake.

  • I don't give a damn if I live New England, in the city, where rap music is blaring through every car and there's no Bluegrass radio station. I'm country, and I don't give a damn what anyone thinks, who says it's not true, or why they would think so.

  • @CuntrySongAndMegaman

That sir, is a country attitude.

  • @TheBigvinny6 Indeed. Too often the people who look down on country and their ways of life are considered right. The only thing wrong with it in my eyes is that I don't live in the right place, not that it's "bad", or, "pathetic" as people were saying a month ago, when I posted that comment.

  • my favorite things are jesus, my friends and family, hello kitty, glitter, neon colors, plaid, and COUNTRY!

  • I am a chinese guy living KY, AND I LOVE COUNTRY SONGS

  • Sadly, some people aren't born where they should be born. City lovers born in the backwoods and country lovers born in f-ing california(like me). But hey, I got the hell outta there as fast as I could. I consider myself COUNTRY! Till I die, and when I die, I may not go to heaven, cause I don't know if they let cowgirls in...so let me go to any where COUNTRY!!!

  • Wisconsin.....the missed placed country state

  • @grrberryzz Agreed.

  • This is my song, home state is PA i know its the north but i grew up in the backwoods oh nowhere, but im livin in CA now, granted its the farmin area but just dont feel the same

  • TX hell ya

  • born and raised in TEXAS! greatest state there is... southern pride!!!

  • I usually hate this kind of music, but this song is amazing; considering where I'm from there's probably a good reason I like this song. ;)

  • i love this song! im from rosharon texas it doesn't get more country than that..... im a true country girl and wouldn't change it for the world....

  • BOONDOCKS IN SOUTH CAROLINA, Y'all!

  • lyricks to shot gun wedding, Drag me down to that lame ass church, Drag me down, Drag me down to that lame ass church. clunk.

  • Living in the country is to much fun. riding down to creek on me horses and fishing then the next day go down there and ride on 4wheelers then the next day go down and party is me country life!!! all yall ant country unless ya now how to ride like a cowgirl or cowboy!!! ;)

  • Heh, where I'm from, if you ain't got no 12ga, bog ol' dog, and a pick-up, you're an outsider. Redneck's way of life. Now I'd like a beer. Oh. And I'm only 17 :] Problem law?

  • @ZARFarmy laws haven't stop people from making moonshine...

  • @Guruausin nope

  • 22 people are mad cuz they aint country :)im country and proud of it buddy!

  • Even though I get made fun of being country and my accent im proud of where I came and where I am in life <3

  • I live 6 miles in the middle of the woods and 4 minutes away from the lake. I aint no city slicker afraid to get my hands dirty, I am country to the bone and can do everything a guy can do, if not better. I live in Burnside, Kentucky where if ya blink ya will miss my town. (:

  • 3:14 is my favorite part

  • I am sorry but this is just my opinion, I hate people who THINK they are country........Being country isnt about hunting or fishing ( but of course its a HUGH part) being country is going to the family owned store and not seeing a stanger. Its about not being afriad of mud, in the country everyone is your family, i didnt hear my first rap song intill i was12. I am from booneville mississippi and i wouldnt trade it for anything in the world...<3

  • @mommasbrat96 omg

  • @mommasbrat96 amen

  • @mommasbrat96 I AM COUNTRY TRUST ME I LIVE IN SUOER SMALL TOWN IN NORTH CAROLIONA

  • @sararock122800 I MEANT SUPER

  • @mommasbrat96 You sound like a Hypocrite

  • @mommasbrat96 hell yeah i agree i live in a small town where everyone knows each other i go to mud bogs and love mud

  • @mommasbrat96 It's a month old, but well said. Country isn't really about where you live but what you live. I grew up in a small town in Western NY, but send me down the street and I can name every person that I pass, along with their immediate family, where they live and their favorite football team. When it all comes down to it, country comes down to your roots...Of course, the four wheeling, the hunting and the beer helps a little bit in the song writing aspect.

  • @mommasbrat96 Mt. Lake, Minnesota: small, friendly towns FTW

  • @mommasbrat96 Most Mississippians are country.. Mississippi is a great state. It's awesome!

  • nothing beets ur roots ,southern missouri

  • 22 people weren't raised in the boonkocks....

  • does anyone else know that you don't use aline and pole to catch crawfish?

  • @cuzscottie4 Nets work perty good, but the rocks can catch em and rip em

  • @cuzscottie4 I think "the crawfish hole" is just where they fish. I don't think they were aiming to get no crawfish X3

  • "my school is better than your school" attitude should have been over by the time we graduated or turned 18. Country, city. What difference does it make. There are wonderful qualities to both sides. Country people love to go to the cities to shop. city people enjoy visiting the country. We are all basically the same. And I LOVE Little Big Town. Those folks can SING!!!!

  • @songcatcher913 Never known any country folk that love to go to the city to shop, especially seeing a shit's more expensive there, there's plenty of reasons to go into the city, but unless your a yuppie bitch, shopping ain't one

  • Im the biggest city girl i know, and im country as all hell. i grew up in the city, but now i live on the eastern shore in maryland. Im not afraid of horses, or any animals. i ride a 4 wheeler with pride. im not afraid of getting dirty, or touchin bugs. i know whats its like to be raised city, but i love country music and everything about the country. so b4 hating, id suggest gettin to kow the person 1st

  • @kit198807 Eastern shore is the best part of Maryland, born and raised in potomac, heart and soul belongs to the shore. from bein in the chesapeake bay, to chilln on the farms and the small towns with big pride. 16 and liven the country ways

  • @kit198807 lol

  • @kit198807 lmao thats a shitty opinion on what a country girl is. i ride 4 wheelers and touch bugs so im a country girl? stfu

  • @kit198807 Welcome to Country livin' sister! Country Girls rule!!

  • @kit198807 I'm a city boy too and I long to be a country boy. I'm so freakin country at heart. I want to do four wheeling and horse riding and living out west on the country side with mountains.

  • its songs like this that make me come more in touch with my hick side, although if you talk to my grama, everybody in this town is a hick. she's from the city and thats why she hits me when i say aint, yall, and my favorite word y'ain't, greatest contraction ever, and if i didnt live in a hick town, it wouldnt have come to be

  • i'm a home grown country boy.i dont hide it but instead i take pride in it.My accent isnt to bad and i think fishing, huntinh and just being with family is a way of life

  • i may be a city girl but im not scarrd of no durt, or bugs. last week a girl freaked over a tiny spider. it not doin anything to ya. most city girls are always at the mall im in my back yeard or down at the creek near my house. getin durty and not midin durt under my nails i shur ant scared of ridin horses had my first leson last week of being 4 and still ridin today and im 15. yea it english ridin but its ridin

  • @noogin44 was it during the concert?

  • National FFA Convention concert

  • @noogin44 i don't remember a shirt being raised

  • @noogin44 that's where i started loving this band too

  • I live in Jersey, but unlike the numerous shows that degrade it, I live on a farm. and this song really fits.

  • catfish and cornbread jowells and collard greens hominy grits and bacon black eyed peas down home cookin best youd ever seen,in the boondocks
