@averageblackreviews i find a lot of video games nowadays are crap, and rushed (in the making) and too short, they just pump out games for the sake of selling them, not actually taking the time making a awesome game, u know. this is why (yes im mentioning skyrim again) im stoked about skyrim, it took them 4 years or so, and will have 300 hrs + of gameplay, and the attention to detail is amazing, i mean skyrim is what a game should be. Not paying $50 for a crap game you finish in an afternoon.

The original game had the master sword it just wasn't called the master sword (it was called the magic sword but basically it's the same crap). Nowhere in the game is it mentioned that this is a direct sequel to OOT or MM. It could be a sequel to any game really (except for legend of Link). I like the game. I like the art and style. The story is simple but effective and the only thing that pissed me off was the fact that I forgot to pick up the heart container in valoo's volcano :P

This game have the best battle system so far, but I think Skyward Sword will surpass it. I just loved fighting those knights. Picking up and using the weapons of the enemy was awesome as well. Traveling with the boat could get tedious, but it was awesome meeting that big octopus. The sharks made wanna crush my fucking gamecube though. Hate those.
When he was talking about the Tingle Tuner he went off on a tangent and stated that Tingle was the wannabe fairy from Ocarina of Time when in fact Tingle wasnt introduced until Majoras Mask.
Gotta say even after playing Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask about 3 months before getting this game years back it still was pretty challenging I think they are saying this game is easy way to much and this is still in my opinion better then Twilight Princess.

major fluke in this game, when the wind is behind you that is the slowest point of sailing comming form someone who sails quite frequently, the fastest point is actually when the wind is at your side

This game is from 2002 or so, for the Nintendo Gamecube. YOU ALWAYS PLAY AS LINK, and every link is a different link. OOT link is not the same as TP link. And graphics are simply to be artistic. Does every Zelda game have to be dark and gritty?

@mariopwns123 Not true. It ties in with the split timeline theory and it features our favorite Hero of Time. In addition you had to save a world from an impending destruction (Much like Ganondorf's conquest of Hyrule).

I fucking love Wind Waker, it is brilliant. I haven't played it for a while but from memory I cant really fault it. The gameplay is fucking class, the whole island/sea theme world is very cool & unique, the graphics are brilliant, new & again unique. Zelda Wind Waker is just bad ass.

@MeneerToad Phantom Hourglass is a great game, but to be honest I enjoyed it less than any other Zelda game I have played. And there were things about it I found hard (the stupid Temple of the Ocean King). I definitely recommend the Wind Waker - infinitely superior to, and more fun, than PH in every way. And don't forget to play A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Minish Cap... Just play them all.

@MeneerToad What was it that you didn't like about OoT? The graphics don't hold up as well as I would like, and there are a couple of temples I don't enjoy, but the game is amazing. If it was the graphics you didn't like, the 3DS version will fix that. Try to play A Link to the Past.
lots of things I didn't like, textures where lots of times ugly, sword fighting didn't really work for me, esspecialy with the lock system that doesn't seem to work as well as it should but mainly I just didn't like the temples. I just never knew what to do!
I don't have a gameboy but maybe I can download LttP on the 3DS when it comes out :P
@MeneerToad Yeah, well, the graphics/textures in OoT were on the N64, so it couldn't be helped. The 3DS version fixes those problems, but if the temples, etc. were too hard for you, then that will be the same. If you have a Wii connected to the internet you can download ALttP on your virtual console. It probably won't be on the 3DS's download shop. The shop will be dedicated to GameBoy games, mostly.

@JimboSlice51 Link isn't only one person. Link is pretty much another title for the hero of time. Which one of link's ancestors is chosen whenever the world is threatened by ganon/ganondorf. So that he can take up the title of the hero of time, and save the world.

I'm only familiar with Legend of Zelda:A Link to the Past,and I absolutely loved it,but it was too difficult,because the game didn't measure depth,so if a flying enemy's body flys by you,you'll get hurt,but if you walk into his shadow,nothing happens,this is why I want to get a 3-D Zelda game,and I have a really good friend that keeps recommending Wind Waker,so I'm watching reviews to see if it's good.And so far,it's looking pretty sweet,since I've never played Ocarina of Time.

major fluke in this game, when the wind is behind you that is the slowest point of sailing comming form someone who sails quite frequently, the fastest point is actually when the wind is at your side

This game is from 2002 or so, for the Nintendo Gamecube. YOU ALWAYS PLAY AS LINK, and every link is a different link. OOT link is not the same as TP link. And graphics are simply to be artistic. Does every Zelda game have to be dark and gritty?

@mariopwns123 Not true. It ties in with the split timeline theory and it features our favorite Hero of Time. In addition you had to save a world from an impending destruction (Much like Ganondorf's conquest of Hyrule).

I fucking love Wind Waker, it is brilliant. I haven't played it for a while but from memory I cant really fault it. The gameplay is fucking class, the whole island/sea theme world is very cool & unique, the graphics are brilliant, new & again unique. Zelda Wind Waker is just bad ass.

@MeneerToad Phantom Hourglass is a great game, but to be honest I enjoyed it less than any other Zelda game I have played. And there were things about it I found hard (the stupid Temple of the Ocean King). I definitely recommend the Wind Waker - infinitely superior to, and more fun, than PH in every way. And don't forget to play A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Minish Cap... Just play them all.

That comment was a year ago, I now played Phantom Hourglas,, Spirit Tracks, Twilight Princess, Windwaker and Ocarina of time. I loves them all, Twilight Princess en windwaker ven more than phantom hourglass exept for Ocarina of Time. Didn't like OoT at all.

@MeneerToad What was it that you didn't like about OoT? The graphics don't hold up as well as I would like, and there are a couple of temples I don't enjoy, but the game is amazing. If it was the graphics you didn't like, the 3DS version will fix that. Try to play A Link to the Past.

lots of things I didn't like, textures where lots of times ugly, sword fighting didn't really work for me, esspecialy with the lock system that doesn't seem to work as well as it should but mainly I just didn't like the temples. I just never knew what to do!
I don't have a gameboy but maybe I can download LttP on the 3DS when it comes out :P

@MeneerToad Yeah, well, the graphics/textures in OoT were on the N64, so it couldn't be helped. The 3DS version fixes those problems, but if the temples, etc. were too hard for you, then that will be the same. If you have a Wii connected to the internet you can download ALttP on your virtual console. It probably won't be on the 3DS's download shop. The shop will be dedicated to GameBoy games, mostly.
