Let's talk about Social Security Disability fraud

" Fraud unit " or in other words Private Investigators have no right " watching/following " people who TRULY have disabilites, especially people with Mental illness', especially PHYCOSIS/some form of schizophrenia. One of my diagnosis is PHYSCOSIS and if i EVER saw one of these " private investigators watching me, id smash thier fuckin head in with a bat. People with mental illness' have every right to be " out and about " doing things.

@USERNAMEKLEMPTOR There is actually this 60 y/o woman in Virginia who claimed "battered women's syndrome" (he didn't hit her only cheated on her), and she managed to get on disability...and has been on it for years. These people should be reported (a longshot that anything would be done anyway) because I knew someone who had cancer and his claim was repeatedly denied..and he DIED!

AGE DISCRIMINATION is WRONG too. And too me, thats what the SSA does to alot of people, including myself. I live in illinois, and the SSA doesnt like dealing with people under the age of 30 or 31 i think it is because they think that anyone younger than that, is simply applying for SSI because thier too lazy too work and just want the money........thats bullshit.

Now.......talking about FRAUD. I believe theres FRAUD on the SSAs half.......then all these people who have absolutely nothing Mentally or physically wrong with them, who try to " fake " having a mental or physical disability and appy for SSI. Those people make me sick to my stomach. Screws over people like myself, who TRULY have illness' that keeps me from working, and many others like me who TRULY have illness'/disabilities that keep them from working.

After my caseworker told me i qualify for SSI, for 4 MONTHS i debated on if i should apply for SSI........do you want to what i did instead?......I put in a effort too work, For over a 3 year period i did that, but couldnt hold down stable/longterm jobs because of my mental illness'.

Fraud=ME.........NOPE. Nor am I LAZY. Im only 27 years old and ive been trying too get SSI for the past 3 years. I myself have Mental illness' and havent worked in 3 years because of them. Ive been going to an Adult outpatient program center for 6 years too see a my Physciatrists and Case workers. My VERY first caseworker i had even told me the very first time i met with her, that with my mental illness', i absolutely qualify for SSI and there should be no reason why i should be Denied.........

WHAT IF YOU HAVE A CHRONIC ILLNESS(S) AND YOU TRY TO DO ALITTLE AROUND YOUR HOME, BUT NOT ABLE TO BE ON THE SMAE JOB U WERE ON OR DO ANY OTHER WORK? WHAT IF MEDICAL TESTING RESULTS CLEARY SHOW YOU ARE SICK AND HAVE BEN SICK A LONG TIME, AS IN YEARS. WOULD THAT DISQUALIFY A PERSON FOR BENEFITS?

If you're not a lying sack of laziness, then you have nothing to worry about. SS disability is one of the biggest taxpayer ripoffs in the country. Oh, my brain don't work therefore I need disability. Believe me, I know a lot of people whose brain doesn't work. So what! Go out there and get yourself a job! The system is abused; report people who abuse it. Also, if you see someone get out of a car in a handicap parking place who walks with no disability, tell them what you think of them.

That isn't always true the person doesn't know they are being investigated. With that recent case in the news w/ the 'adult baby' Stanley Thornton, Jr, getting SSI, he wrote on his blog someone from SS visited him and asked questions which he could have simply lied about in order not to get caught (he denied lying, of course). His 'investigation' took place after the fact and they just took his word for it he was being truthful, & cleared him of disability fraud. That's insane!!!

most people on social security for disability or receiving benefits for mental disabilities. these idiots who report people do not understand this OR care that you have mental disabilities. these idiots do not understand mental illness and they do not want to know or care about mental illness. all these people see is someone who is on disability mowing grass or whatever. they have no idea WHY you or on disability, nor do they care

@BeingNobody1956 Also many people don't understand TBI Tramatic Brain Injury, which can happen at any time to anyone, doing things help reteach the brain to connect with your physical body, also time and doing things helps your brain reroute and get memories back, and to get back to being a person. ONe minute you can be very smart and the next all mixed up.

@BeingNobody1956 - WELL SAID.......I myself have mental illness' and people who dont have them, simply dont understand them and will never understand them. I myself also do yard work/mow the grass. lol..........being physically active, especially having SEVERE DEPRESSION, is very good. One of my mental illness' ( body dysmorphic disorder) can make it VERY hard to even get out of bed let alone, and do physical work. I also exercise/workout 4/5 days a week, which helps me tremendously.

wow thats bs i got ssi and i have no problems physically but my "mental disability" makes me have a hard time finding and keeping a job, and living on my own without having someone checking up on me for an hour. and having to cooking dinner without burning down the apartment while someone who cant even walk being DENIED.. BULLS*#^

I'm trying to have a life while waiting for disability to finally get approved. I have been trying to meet a woman from a dating site and I did. She is disabled, too and she invited me to a dance? LOL Well there is very little I can regularly do and if I do engage in something its not without "my chair". This woman, on disability, was literally running during raffle give aways and dancing in between??!!! I am way worse off than her and she's just livin life while I sat in my chair! Must be nice!

Thanks for posting this video of how bad the SS is and the fraud. People are getting it and more than one check. I met a lady on a bus that was getting 5 checks in Cornelius Oregon that cussed me out because she had to go to Danville for drug or booze treatment and was mad. Lady YOU WILL GET CAUGHT. No one gets this many checks. I have been fighting it 13 years and cannot walk and YOU CAN and you got off the bus with NO physical problems at all. Go to heck lady and sit on it!!!!!

Thank you for posting this of how bad SS fraud is all over the country especially in Oregon. Yahoo said today that it takes years for them to catch anyone. I met a lady yesterday who said she had no kids and is getting many SS checks. I asked her a simple system of how she is doing that. She yelled and cussed me out and said "I DO NOT KNOW YOU I will move if you do not quit talking to me" I quit and realized that the minute we went by her destination at Danville Services she got angry at me.

As far as I am concerned SS is doing nothing about all the fraud in the system. There are too many people getting it that have nothing at all physically wrong at all. I have been trying for 13 years to get it and cannot even walk due to bad arthritis from a bad accident and have mental problems and they say I cant get it. I ran into someone who is in their 50s and this person has NOTHING physically wrong at all and is getting a big check and she does all this physical stuff. SS is a fraud!!!
