If not you're basically staking £88,000 on a 50/50 chance at £250,000. An offer of around £100,000 and I'd be more inclined to agree. Banker deserved to lose for an insulting offer like that.

I open every wrong box apart from 1 and yours, and give u the option to swap. As it's a 1/100 chance you chose the right box first off, it's 99/100 you chose the wrong box. There's only 1 box i left closed, and it's more likely to be in that 1, not the 1 u chose. So, you should always swap. It's pretty weird but true

Guys, have you seen the entire episode? She didn't even care about the money, she said something like "I won't just be going home with 1p, I'll be going home with happy memories and the knowledge I've had the time of my life being on this show." Why is everyone calling her greedy? the expected return of a 1p and 250,000 at 50% is way more than what we was offered. She took a risk but it was a reasonable one, high risk high return, she was unlucky but it made sense. I probably would've went for the 88000 cuz I would play it safe but this isn't particularly greedy or stuipid.

The important thing isn't the numbers. It's utility - and the £88k would have been useless to her, because she came hoping for £200k to buy a vintage Bentley. I notice that the person who uploaded this has dishonestly edited that out. The clip only LOOKS greedy because it's purposely been taken out of context.

Anyway, to answer your question (in spite of the fact that you did not have the courtesy to answer mine): if £88000 will get you a lot of the things that you want, then of course you wouldn't refuse it. If it wouldn't get you anything you wanted (but the £250k would) then of course you would go on. The player's circumstances make all the difference.

It serves her right!!! Most of the people on here are young people that are able enough to work to get money!! I personally think that old people DO deserve to win a good amount but nothing larger than £35,000.....maybe a little bit less. It's the young people that say no deal on large amounts that make me angry. I've seen them say no deal on over 100 grand and they are the ones people should really be pissed off at.
