@miller4hats Unless LED, pretty much all flootlight bulbs do, and at pretty high temperatures to boot. I've never come across a strobe light that got anywhere near luke-warm, and depending on the wattage, string lights may be slightly hot if on for a prolonged time. Your biggest fear should be floodlights or par cans, as they will melt any type of plastic near the bulb and become a fire hazard.

GE 85-Watt PAR38 Blue Floodlight Bulb is the light at lowes it was $6.78
