  • @Get1337 It doesn't matter if a car is built or not. Its all in the tune...if you have a bad tune/tuner your car isnt going to last long. Make sure you know what you're doing if you choose to self tune...if not don't cheap out and go to a no name shop to have it done. You pay for quality.

  • How many revs do these extreme civics run?

  • sounds super sexy i cant wait to start my z6 build im basing it off bisis 734whp build xp

  • Me likey

  • Slowww xD

  • @sk8danger Slow? Oh well for a single cam it ran 11.7 seconds with A/C, and powersteering still functioning ang was never removed. Is a daily driver and is until now running good ET's. Why what car you got sk8danger?

  • love the d's, nice dyno run but that aint 500hp no ofense but its still sick just show the charts next time

  • @88CRXa6 it's 449.89. LOL. round off

  • @09204418448 That's WHP. It's probably correctly around 550 brake horsepower.

  • @EdSabbath what does brake and wheel difference? sorry bad english

  • @09204418448 Brake is at the flywheel, wheels is at the wheels. The drivetrain loses horsepower through it due to weight. No worries, there was a time when I didn't know the difference either. :)

  • @EdSabbath Thanks bro! Appreciate sharing some lessons. lol. Everyone had gone through that stage lol.

  • @09204418448 thats sick well done, im stacking up parts for my a6 build im lookin for big numbers as well

  • Beasty

  • For God sake it's HONdA.. Damn peoples..

  • @red666A DON'T WATCH THE VIDEOS ABOUT HONDA THEN PRICK

  • Thats exactly why i got out of the honda game because even honda owners talk shit to other honda owners... smh

  • how much for this setup and is it still running and is it reliable. nice turbo d16 im very impressed i might just do it too.

  • what tack is that on the steering column?

  • galing ah! i'm working my way there... i've got arp headstuds, cometics gasket, skunk2 rods, springs, and retainers... next i gotta get eagle connecting rods and pistons... then she's ready for turbo... can't wait!

  • D16 is not the best, but its not bad considering the price

  • 1: Bullshit 500whp... show some dyno graphs. You are not gonna get over 400 with that garbage honda motor, get a better motor (even if its a honda, just dont stay with the 1.6 lol) and even at that.. I also highly doubt this car is at 25psi...

  • Your ignorance and lack of knowledge are showing.

  • Your math is bad. 500WHEEL hp. Add on 17% bcz of drivetrain loss and you get close to 600hp at the crank. Most d16's are single cam with a compression of 9.5 on average (9.3 - 9.7 to 1) So to turbo it like crazy you will have to lower compression losing even more power. Now how do you take a single cam 1.6 motor which now has approxiumately 100hp and turn it into 600hp? GT30 turbo is not a super impressive turbo... normal 90 trim and all. You cant get 40 psi into this honda crap engine or turbo

  • Easily. C16 like the description says. You could probably make 700whp on a sleeved d16 on c16.

  • Well that's not real 500whp... that's like saying my car has 330hp... with a 100shot of nos. .. Anyone running on jet fuel can make a bunch of power. Then again, it is impressive seeing a fast civic :P and I much rather see a well engineered civic running crackhead fuel, then seeing some stupid civic turboing a d15 and running a 100 shot of nos and thinking his car is great. This d16 must have some crazy internals if it hasn't blown yet XD

  • btw, bisimoto has a 702whp d16z6 on pump gas and water meth. No oxygenated fuel.

  • its not running on stock 87-104 octane gasoline fuel... but still impressive for a tiny 4 banger

  • @atreyukicks Lowering the compression height of the piston doesn't cause a loss of power, at all. Boosting raises the effective compression way beyond what it normally is, so lowering the compression height of the piston simply makes it usable and less risky.

  • @jdmwc1981 Lowering the Compression in a turbo-charged car actually increases power depending on your fuel management system. This is due to the timing added because of the lower temperature.

  • If the title would say h22 500 whp, it might be a little better. But you're taking one of honda's worst engines and building on it... all you save is the initial 2000$ that the d16 costs less than the h22.

  • actually the d series was one of the strongest and most reliable engines that honda has built and it is just underated and not given credit for the true power and potential it has i hang with b16's all day

  • Big problem with the d16's is that 90% are single cam...

  • lol is that is the only problem is that its single cam but i gurantee you put a lil time and money t.l.c and you will be on the same or a further level then a b18 possibly h22's d16's are underated like i said

  • @blopeezy People failed to realize that Honda's Strength's (The head) are way ahead of every other Company in turns of price range to performance, and their weaknesses (Engine Displacement Sizes) are barely over 10%. between each other. They also forget that with a p28 Computer, (100 Bucks maybe?) some Injectors and a fuel pump, they can turn their little d16 into a monster, with Great Gas Mileage.

If you drive a honda, don't swap your motor Boost it!

  • i respectfully disagree with that. yes the d series have less stock hp and one less cam but they are super strong for any kind of turbo build. they hold together great when properly done. i have owned 2 b series. one a gsr and one ls vtec. not to mention a h22, which didnt last long and i have to say that when i went back to the d series and havent been dissatisfied since. they are cheap and super reliable power. and for a swap it cost a bit more than 2000$. i'd chosse a turbo d over a b anyday

  • @extemeaggression Tha't's one of the smartest comments I've ever heard. When you have Uberdata, Crome, Turbo-Edit.. Why swap out? Almost any of the common honda engines are capable producing more HP, then their Chassis/Suspension can handle.

  • @OoShinkooO thanks man

  • @extemeaggression why not just go k? and sell all your motors you have now?

  • @Havikboi ive thou8ght about it a couple times. weighted the pro's and con's. i have gotten rid of the sohc since the last comment. i got bored with it and got a gsr. after im done with this one i will most likely go k series. ive heard nothing but good things about the k. i will eventually try it out after i have the cash for it. well, and have the money to build it. and the only motors i have left is a b20a and a d16y8. neither will bring much cash. so im saving them for a jic thing

  • @extemeaggression yeah you should dude then post a vid up. From what i have heard i dont know is this is true or not, but i have heard that with a stock k20 you can bust 13s?

  • @Havikboi as soon as i can afford a cam i will defiantly do that. and yea ive heard of them hitting 13's in like crx's and ef's. probably some more on here but i haven't looked them up. i like the old jdm civic's with a ton of mods rather than a new civic with only a few.

  • @Havikboi typically run in the 14's with a good driver, but they respond exceptionally well to bolt on.

I have a 2.8 Vr6 (12v), my brother has a Type S, and believe me top end, the car just pulls away....

  • @OoShinkooO nice!

  • @extemeaggression Besides... 503 HP (What the owner of the video has) is wayyy more then the chassis can handle stock..

  • @OoShinkooO sort of. its more of the suspension and transmission. but your statement is very valid. you have a point. i also sold my turbo d ek and got a b18c1 eg hatch. i got tired of the setup. needed something new.

  • @extemeaggression nah gsr or b16 anyday

  • @TheDecker13 Sure if u wana top out at 120 or less without fully building ur tranny and swappin si gears and zc gears into it =/ D series is really the way to go. A turbo build with a Dx trans... now thats where u really rock the shit outta everything lol

  • @lilhoede1990 thats y u build a gsr for boost and put a ls trans on it there u go simple as that

  • @TheDecker13 actually i prefer the sohc... its just way cooler to have a sohc that puts 400+ to the ground

  • there is an 800 plus hp all motor non vtec single cam anything is possible

  • d series?

    f series is beast too!

  • wow your an idiot... no there is not... maybe a turbo'd motor....

but no all motor d series can hit more than 300whp.... maybe 200-250whp if they are lucky...

  • the problem with most people is that they hear "sohc" and think "slow" so they get a turbo. I had a friend who had a supercharged d16z6 running 13's with very light mods attached and he complained that it was too slow so he got a turbo and then ended up running 13's, now hes down to 11's with more mods, but what would the supercharger get with those extra mods?

don't say nothing until you have done it. we have a guy here where i live with a 450hp NA d16z6 with mods, but hes still not done.

  • 450hp aspirated d16? yeah right. Show me a video anywhere of any 450hp aspirated 4cyl, if it was going to happen it would never be with a d16.

  • real tuners don't waste their time with youtube, why post a video for a bunch of retards such as your self that know NOTHING about tuning cars when all you do is bitch?

have fun with your ebay built cars and riced up shit buckets on youtube.......

  • seems like its you whos bitcing there man.... and seeing how theres that many records posted on youtube, you just sound like a trolling twat

  • lol, troll.....

like i said, enjoy your youtube ricers. the best cars around aren't on youtube. there an amazing 1000hp TT Supra here in maryland, is it on youtube, no, does it run amazing times with an epic tune and setup? yes.

    keep enjoying your rice.....

  • what so 1 car in your area isnt posted and that makes all cars rice? That'd be including the titan, wotm, boost logic supras to name just a few. Or some of our aussie cars - 1450rwhp supra and 1150awhp skyline. or the 1st and 3rd fastest gtr's, worlds fastest rotary, 6.4sec 2jz. Just another ignorant american calling everything crap that they dont get.

  • Shut the fuck up Kangaroo Jack.

  • hahahahahahahaha god damn, thankyou holy shit im tired of hearing different nationalities hating america

  • your the only ricer, ive seen plenttyy of supera over 1000hp on youtube smart ass

  • Yeah just another typical American little bitch.

  • =[] damn them americans =]

  • I think the highest N/A motor is 380hp by jakespec running on oxygenated fuel. And it's a 2.1L B series.

  • 2.1L B series? so he modded his B-series to a bigger size?

B series is 1.6L. That's one hell of a mod to get him up to 2.1L.

D16Z6 full mods, I'm talkin cold air, header, exhaust, rods, crank, springs, valves, pistons, etc. etc. Now just "simple" modifications.

  • B series has a 1.6L, 1.8L, 2.0L...And all those mods on the d16z6 ARE simple modifications. You seriously don't know what you are talking about.

  • most likely a b20 swap

  • Mate you have no idea on what you're talking about.. You're probably just talking shit on Youtube because you have no friends in real life.

B series came in 1.6L, 1.7L, 1.8L and 2.0L.. Doesn't take much to get it up to 2.1L. Hell 2.2L won't even be hard. Just need oversized pistons and/or a stroker kit.

And you'd also be suprised about tuners being on Youtube...

  • if he made a 1.6 into a 2.1...he musta have bored and stroked it out....like you can make a 302 into a 347 stroker

  • yeah, but in the video info top right, "stock sleeves"...... you can only bore those so far, even then 503 is pretty high.

Buddy has a full race build D series, everything you can do, has been done, little over 400whp............

Also, no point to having 400whp no FWD anyway, makes driving circuits harder, but most people cant drive, so they drag (not saying your a bad driver, just most people today drag without ever trying circuit...)

  • well there are alot more strips then series tracks i would assume, hell i dont even know of one in georgia

  • yeah, maryland lacks a circuit course too. but that doesn't stop me from going up to Virginia on a weekend trip......

  • well i aint got shit to run so it would be a waste for me lol unless its like fun ford weekend or somethin

  • well, the events I usually go to are just free events, just a bunch of people running the course, trying new things. No need to worry about finishing first, its just a fun friendly open event. its pretty nice.

  • that sounds like fun shit, i would love to go through a circuit in my lil civic just to see what kinda limits i can set

  • its extremely fun, just look up a track near you, for me its the Virgina International Raceway(VIR), and then just look up events. there are usually "open to the public" events that aren't main races and you can totally test your skills. I plan to do 2 or 3 this summer.

  • sweet thanks dude

  • word. no problem.

  • bullshit stock sleeves lol

  • Speedfactory ran 600hp+ on stock sleeve vitara sohc.

  • the record is actually somewhere around 750WHP

  • Umm what?..if your saying HONDAS are slow look at Tony Palo's integra....

  • hell yea!!! 9.1 second integra!!!

  • how much RPM???

  • Honda sohc 4's go 550hp, the dual cams such as the b16's and b18's have seen 1000hp. Not too often but they've been there.

    And I don't know what the k20 is capable of..That is a state-of-the-art engine.

Wonder what an evo with a 1000whp set up in an AWD platform would put down if you sent all of it to the rear wheels?

  • i have personally seen a d16z6 sohc with 1000hp at a car show not even kinding

  • i call pure bullshit!

  • im serious.. if you dont want to believe me then dont..

  • theres no way to get 1000 hp out of a d16.. the highest horse power d16 is 600.

  • 1000 hp is more than I have heard of but 600 hp isnt the highest power a d16 can make.

  • 1000 hp out of a d isnt impossible but its not worth the money and i have seen countless d's with more than 600hp.

  • @silentbob831 K20A2 is able to put out 360Hp all Motor. I leave it to your imagination what a Turboed is capable of...

  • @Helldorado2008 FASLE.. A K20A2 or any K series for that mater cannot get 360hp all motor.. are you on crack?!!

  • @CarJunk911 Look it up J´s Racing K20 Fit.

    PS: You FAIL XD

  • @Helldorado2008 i dont fucking fail. All what came up was an automatic fit driving? Send me the link.. 360 all motor no fucking way in hell!

  • @CarJunk911 look it up its been done :)

  • @91DAintegraB20 Well 300-320 ish maybe.. Idk i am just going by what i know.. I am sure it could but i dont think it could get 360

  • @silentbob831 look up STM's new RWD evo :)

  • @silentbob831 There are SOHC D's in the 800s, bro. And in the 700s daily driven, check Bisi's wagon for example. That's his own personal ride and it's pushing something close to 725hp.

  • honda has 1,6L and evo 2,0L

  • honda has 1.5L, 1.6L, 1.7L, 1.8L, 2.0L, 2.2L, 2.4L and the v6s too.

  • i am talking about the honda in the video you retard, i know what engines honda has, i ve been reading and working in hondas before you even knew what "honda" means smart-ass

  • haha okay ive been learning about hondas since i was 10.

  • 2.3 too retard

  • huh?

  • 1.4

  • The stock sleeves are good for 500hp, but since you are right on the line, I would change them out. It would suck to put that much work into an engine just to have it become an expensive multi-piece paper weight.

  • if a block sleeve doesnt care about time. It cares about how much force your putting on the sleeve. Which is the 1/2 of the equation to calculate tq. The force on the sleeve, times the distance to the crank makes the tq number. Hp only plays a part if your talking about resonance. The block sleeve is not rated in hp, but force/tq. I would always change them out since trying to triple your tq is a lot of stress on your block sleeve

  • are you running on a stock crank if not can you tell me what you have done to it

  • yeah probably. and i just dynoed last night again with a new cam.

  • new cam huh? thats nice.. should def do somethin about those stock sleeves instead of making it have a louder explosion.. but the best of luck to you.

  • would you get your thumb out of your ass you stupid redneck. The stock sleeves are fine as long as you support them somehow IE: blockguard, block posting etc.

  • Blockguards are shit. They just cause motors to have hotspots and warp. With the amount of work you have to do to a block to have a blockguard reliable/safe you might as well just sleeve your block.

  • I used to belive the same until one of my friends installed a golden eagle block guard into his d16z6 block and then had it decked and bored. Hes boosting over 350whp no overheating issues. The GE blockguard is the only one i would ever use. Other than posting that is.

  • @capricekid

ive turboed mine for 60.000 kms right now and its still running strong 220 whp.

if u know what ur doing your block wont blow...

  • PINOY PRIDE PARE. putang inang mga amerikano!!!! asians daw putfag sila

  • explane this to me a garrett gt3076r is rated at 52 lb/hr witch means a max of 540 crank hp now 540 - 14% drive train loss = 464.4 hp? so how you getting 503 our or a 30r unless your messing with the dyno settings or using a dynopac try a mustang dyno and see what happnes

  • I have seen 30r's do 550whp, on a honda engine of course. You do not know all the details so you can not come up with your own conclusions.

  • yep. its called sard.

  • @7chinaman7 Is somebody on there period? haha

  • if you say its 500 hp and your at the best place to prove it why is it not on the video?

what is the point of doing a dyno video if you dont show the power?

  • sounds like a jet nice build

  • sir ralph magkano na sir nagastos nio sa engine ? ask ko lang para naman may idea ako..salamat..

  • is it sleeved?

  • Vid description says stock sleeves.

  • hmm...nice

  • ano set-up mo ralph?

  • simple lang. forged piston, gt30.

  • what octane..there sir

  • congrats!!..gud numbers.

  • thanks. hus this?

  • Hopefully paps ma break natin ang fastest SOHC, kung sa bagay you own the fastest honda SOHC street legal hatch in the philippines. 11.9 dati, hopefully maka 10's. Good work Ralph!

  • who's this?

i dont't have plans yet to go 10s. want to run it as is where is :) full interior and stuff.

  • Just another of your wanting to learn ECU programming from people. I messaged you before on friendster, bout the plx wideband. That was a long time ago, went to antipolo also just to watch sir Bong do his work. I'm from bacolod city.

  • 500whp @ ????? rpm

    thanks

  • 8200 look at my h-t thread

  • wooord nice shit there.
