Actually marriage for love is a new concept. For the majority of its lifespan marriage has been strictly for family politics; Gaining property, business partnerships, money, so on and so forth. Not that it's invoked here, but I always find it funny when the arseholes try to cover up their bigotry by claiming the REAL reason for their stance against gay marriage is that homosexuals cannot procreate with one another.
If that was really the case, they'd also be rallying against heterosexual marriages where one or both partners are unable to procreate, due to whatever reason (injury, illness, medical condition, old age, operations, etc.).
Funny how we never see those sorts of protests...

I'm very pro-breastfeeding, and in NY it is a woman's protected right to publicly nurse her baby -- however it is NOT her right to expect others to "turn away" and not look. It's easy to throw a cloth over your shoulder; in fact, the baby likes the shutting out of distractions. The idea of covering up (not that you HAVE to) is to be polite to the people around you; how dare she expect THEM to be responsible for HER modesty? Point being, she's an ass in every way.

Actually marriage for love is a new concept. For the majority of its lifespan marriage has been strictly for family politics; Gaining property, business partnerships, money, so on and so forth. Marriage was not about love in the first place. Now we're reinventing marriage and allowing people of different classes and races and in some places (gasp!) same sex's to marry. I wanna know what it truly means to stand for marriage when its in such a mercurial state.

I haven't watched all the video but from what I see it sounds like she was attending a rally specifically meant to protest equal rights to gays, and then she got all hurt and offended that the very people and their supporters she wanted to deny rights to stood in front of her, probably looking right at her.
It's VERY hard for the average person to justify their hate to someone who is standing right in front of them, or at the very least they will feel incredibly uncomfortable doing so.

If I were to speculate, I'd say the NOM rally was a bit further away, and the gay rights guys were demonstrating out of the way of the bulk of ppl.
