This song is a masterpiece. Although inbred mountain may be off the beaten path in composition, it's brutalness and rapid transition to beautiful songs like this (and plastination station) really says something.

@Wabaanimkii this is one of his greatest songs in my opinion. Inbred Mountain was a killer album . This,Plastination station, Flock of slunks, in search of in bred mountain..... all great songs. Even the really really heavy and non linear other songs are interesting to me in their way

@Wabaanimkii I don´t think IM has a "beaten" way of composition. It´s the unpredictability of those songs like "Advance to the summit" or "Johnny be slunk" that makes so great. But the album wouldn´t be as good as it is with these linear and beautiful songs. It´s the mix that makes it one of the best buckethead albums.

He is a musical master, being so versatile and creative in so many genres it just blows my mind.That's what makes BH the greatest guitar player of our time.
