Oh cheers for this,I've just been trying to tell my dear friend in America how to make bread+butter pudding.Tell you something cringe worthy .. I went in Jamie Oliver's gaff in Brighton for a coffeeyesterday+saw Eccles cakes;)) (I'm orig from L'pool ,so a Lancashire lass;) I paid £2.80!! for one Eccles cake ,but omg it was good.
They called it an Ec-le cake with a French accent,ewhen I told them it was a Lancs recipe I was told I was wrong..lol.fools! shame you have smutty comments ;(saddos!
