ive got exactly the same problems with my Astra i 17td I was told it could be the relays under the bonnet, mine sometimes starts but when its cold it plays up like the battery is dead, but it isnt.

if you rectified this problem please let me know.

Yes, we fixed it by getting the glow plugs replaced.

glow plug fuse or sumthing tyming wise i think or that dam red diesel dries the bors and caput m8
