i got married in that place on 02/17/2009 and visited on 04/05/2009 and now i'm pregnant with my first child (a girl) due January 2 2012. my baby is inside my belly since my first ultrasound from April of 2011.
The overlap of sound has a somewhat surrealistic feel to it. I like the way you showed three stations at once. Evidently they read the same statement, but each station's announcer read it, so the speeds were different.
With these 3 stations going digital on Feb 17, I expected something big. A very big disapointment.. The hail storm about a half hour later kinda made up for this.
Thanks... although it confused me at first viewing, not so anymore now that I understand. It's still a clever and creative way to show the analog farewell videos for this trifecta of stations.
Did viewers on each of the three stations see this triple overlapping video, or were the tree individual shutdown notices edited into this YouTube video after the fact? I am confused. If it was the former and not the latter, it might be better to show these notices one after the other, in sequence, rather than all at once; it's confusing.

BTW, all the TV stations here in Los Angeles go digital June 12.
The what what, wha? It really doesn't help anything if two stations overlap each other quite well and another lags under a heavier load of information.
That's a loophole if I ever heard of one, and of course, Sinclair would be the one to exploit it. Sinclair is trying to get as many semi-official "triopolies" as possible... just take a look at the Pittsburgh market.
That reminds me of a friend who had a jazz radio station he listened to. At like 2am one day, it started playing christian programming. No nothing! Not a word; the jazz just went away.
I simply recorded each signal separately with my tuner, since the information was running constantly in loop (along with the DTV infomercial) after signoff.
I synced the messages together using Corel Video Studio.

They were all run separately. They've just been spliced together for the purpose of this video.

Sounds annoying with all those channels talking. The FOX one was louder though.

Does one owner have a TRIO of full power stations in Nashville!?!
1L6E6VHF 2 years ago
Technically, WNAB isn't owned by Sinclair. They just operate it under an outsourcing agreement.

Analog is turned off to make way for RFID tags in humans.

Just the FOX, My Network TV and CW affiliates of Nashville only.

The other stations in Nashville won't turn off their analog signals until 06/12/2009.

How did you get all three signals at the same time?

I didn't.
