Hate her. One of the most over rated, over scored gymnasts in '88. She should not have made the podium on bars. Sloppy legs, hop on landing. Shameful.

Very good until she got off with the music at the last run, and her final pirrouette is not in time either. 9.85 or 9.90 - seemed to be a score for upper tier gymnasts - 3 Soviets, Mills, Dobre all had this score. I guess they wanted something really special to be given higher and thats why Silivas got her 10.

The pianist slowed down the music in two places to try to make it more artistic: before the last tumbling run and you could see she was off on the music after landing the last run so she threw her head back on the beat of the music. Hmm, interesting. You all know how I couldnt stand Kersten, the DDR or its gymnastics team, but this routine did deserve its 9.9 score

Dagmar was a good but not as fabulous gymnasts as her over-obsessed fans on her rabid froth on and on about. She had nice presentation, good form and technique but didn't deserve some of the scores she got during these olympics, that's for sure, and she should have never made vault finals, she sucked big time!

It shows how far East German gymnastics fell from the glory days of Janz, Zuchold, Gnauck, that this was actually their best gymnast by 1988. Of course they have fallen even further since.
