Landon Donovan is one of the greatest American soccer players of all time, not to mention he's in the prime of his career.
Look for Freddy to factor heavily in 2014, and he'll definitely be a starter in 2018.

He cares about playing in Europe it is what he says he always wanted to do. He said that 'he knew he made it to the big time when he joined Benfica'. Plus European Club competitions are the best in the world, although the Portuguese league is definitely not as good as the Italian, Spanish and English top flight league so he has a way to go.

You are kidding right? If you know anything about football, you'll know it's the primary aspiration for any player to make it in one of the top European leagues.
The World Cup isn't that great, it only comes once every four years anyway. The European Champions League is the best football competition in the world.

All we can see here in Europe from Adu are just fucking highlights on youtube, because with his 2 European team (Benfica, Monaco) he was a pure garbage. am not sayin he isn't good but it does help him look good when he is playing against weak opposition, the MLS is amateur in comparison to the premiership or LFP or Serie A. They are the main leagues throughout the world the Portuguese or the French leagues aren't not to same standard with adu not being as special in those leagues means he probs isn't as good as he is made out to be.

Adu may be good in American leagues but the opposition are of lower quality. He wouldn't be half as good or get half the time and space on the ball as he does in America if he played in the premiership. He can only truly be classed as a great by playing in one of the major European football leagues.

Look here, Freddy is not overrated. Have you played against him? No, then shut the fuck up. Americans are not all about soccer like Europeans, because education is their top priority. Unlike European kids whose lives are occupied by Soccer. For example, Ronaldinho before he became famous was an average player like Adu. Ronaldinho went to countless tryouts and didn't make it. Also compare his time in PSG to adu's in MLS and they are the same.
