All these fielding drills can't teach you the hardest thing about fielding in cricket - concentration.
it's easy to catch when someone is constantly throwing the ball at you. but now, put yourself in 40 degree celcius weather, you've been fielding for 3 hours, and now you're put in the slips. maybe 1% of balls will come to you. yet you have to be HYPER alert every single ball-- because when the ball does come its going to flying at 90 mph and the entire match will depend on it. very different.
@karimshaban yeah that's true, this one time i played second slip and we were fielding only for 3 overs. The next moment our quickest bowler got an edge, but luckily it went to the keeper, but yeah concentration is the most important
