I love this game. It just goes so over-the-top with the grindhouse feel, and the scriptwork is just awesome. Definitely a capable and respectable entry in the series.
Games like this NEED to be successful or else publishers won't ever take the risk of releasing non-shovelware/party game software (i.e. DECENT software) for the Wii.
Hats off to SEGA for an Overkill, MadWorld and The Conduit 2009!
juries out - great promo but the game looks seriously lacking considered it's pedigree... i saw no awe-inspiring boss fights that are the hallmark of HOTD series and no cool co-op features that have been introduced in the series as of late... but we'll see...
yeah split screen isn't cool co-op feature... for instance in HOTD4 you can save your partner in a little bonus game... i'm hoping the game is great since i'm a big sega fan but this promo is seriously lacking in gameplay dept... tho it is a great presentation! It'll probably sell anyway, who cares about gameplay nowadays anyway...

Hi DjDedan - I can confirm that HOTD: OVERKILL does have multiplayer, some really cool end-of level boss fights as well as minigames.
