  • Us It be kinda hard to capture a family vacation with say a pie chart. Uk Its quite hard to capture a family holiday with say a pie chart. Japan what the fuck is a vacation and whats this holiday you speak of.

  • @MattJust37 Very funny! Well done, Matt.

  • @IamLinksys Standards? You're such a reject. PC gaming is for people who can't afford a console. And sorry that I'm not as much of a dork as you for you "game" I just think of them as video games. Get a life.

  • @hsharma92 PC gaming for those who can't afford a console? Except PCs and PC games are much more expensive? Hahaha... Get used to the fact that games are well and truly part of our social fabric - as much as television and movies. It's not about "getting a life", it's about living it.

  • Does Apple make others? 4 ex Italy, Spanish, Russian, and so on.

  • Doesn't matter where you're from, kids. Just remember: Mac is whack

  • i also do fun stuff like games and more games and more games

  • im here cuz i searched usuk

  • @randomperson855 me too...

  • Hetalia.

    It makes this hilarious.

  • Japanese versions are best, they all made me laugh the UK and US ones didn't they just made me hate Mac even more

  • the UK mac looks like a dork

  • I'm a mac. And I'm a PC. I do fun stuff like movies music pod casts, stuff like like that. So do I, But I can also play video games. Oh really which ones? All of them.

  • @XbobSector Games? Wow! It's too bad Xbox 360s and PS3s aren't meant for that.

  • i love how the UK version uses a pointy stick and not a laser

  • I love that arrogant enthusiasm on David's face when he get's out his pie chart pointer.

  • The brit Mac is the ugliest guy I've ever seen.

  • @mangerlentement its only david mitchell before he lost the weight.

  • 1:55 Haha us mac does not have a web site what a looser!

  • @Grenlink18 not trying to start a fight, but maybe because apple.com is already US by default?

  • why is PC a nerd while MAC is a douchebag?

  • @victormorenoortega id rather have it that way, id rather be a nerd than a douchebag..

  • American Mac seems more cooL! Reminds me co-workers :P or my dad xD

  • @RadioOperator01 Correction PC! *got carried away cause it was a MAC commercial xD*

  • Japanese mac is super attractive....

  • Yeah 1:24 is funny!

  • sorry dude but it took a bit to long to start and u should have cross edited. check my channel soon to see what i mean sry dude

  • @tiamta sorry to hate

  • Mitchell and Webb (UK) kicks ass :D

  • hi i were a mac now im gonna buy a ilife because i never had a real life

  • Comment removed

  • If you want it to be really funny, turn on the closed captions. At 1:24 it says agonies and suffering call this number.

  • the japanese ones suck. i know i dont understand what theyre saying, but you can tell by their facial expressions and such that it is not as good as the US and UK ones

  • @cenhs95ce they all look the same for me in fact i liked more then us and uk one

  • Wish you subtitled.

  • Its funny how this is saying that windows is totally less fun that mac when mac needs to run windows to play any games at all... yeh how "FUN".... so mac as they say in this ad needs a ONLY spreadsheet making crappy OS to run games when it cant itself... wow i love macs already

  • Sure I'm a bit biased, but the UK ads are the best...

  • Ha...fun on a Mac....yeah....with it's WAST collection of games:P

  • @CRAIGturtleMAN awwww I like fancy-ish talk. Makes a person sound smarter ;) you're from Scotland?! So cool :D *easily amused American* I like Scottish accents

  • Mitchell and Webb (the British guys) work really well because they have the appropriate personalities for it.

  • Shenanigans and tomfoolery!

  • British vocabulary is kinda fancy-ish

  • Why is is that everyone in Japan looks so alike? Ads like this don't really work because you need contrasting looks and personalities. In Japan, everyone sounds the same. I'm not trying to be racist but yeah, I'm being pretty ignorant.

  • @RobinScott93 They sound the same because you don't speak their language.

  • @RobinScott93 how do they look the same..the mac guy is hot and the other is not quite as hot..i like the jp and us mac guys best (:

  • OMG why did they change kicking about and stuff to posh words like "hijinks"? Bloody hell, keep it the same. We're not all from Kent.

  • Why so Brittish? >:D *shot*

  • Shenanigans and Tom-Foolery and Hi-jinks for Hang-Out Time and Just Kicking It? I wonder what the Japanese guy said, he seems like he has additude: 0:36 - "Yeah,yeah..."

  • realy, timesheets? TIMESHEETS?!

    and what about games?

  • @gorea500 did you really think Apple would mention their biggest downsize in their own ad?

  • lol how different are US and UK :D

  • shitty ads

  • why there is a UK and a US version?

    Why not one version?

  • @GerbenMa Because British people would have detested having Americans telling them what to buy and it would have been an utter failure. We don't even like other British people telling us what to buy. The two guys in the British ad are comedians and are really well known in the UK. That's why their's is much funnier.

  • the UK mac SUCKS AT HIS ROLE.

  • @ImperialArmour He's playing it the way he plays his character in their sitcom, which works for that, but not really for this.

  • The Japanese PCs face when he said "No, no" was priceless.

  • Like the uk version most. Its the peep show cast :)

  • i must say i prefer our version with mitchell and webb!

  • i love being british

  • @adamwoodhouse Yup! Low-twenties, get your sunscreen on!

    *sarcasm*

  • @adamwoodhouse Yeah. It's evident that Americans generally aren't funny...

  • Mac: Hello, I'm a Mac.

    PC: And I'm a PC.

Mac: What are you doing PC?

    PC: I'm playing a game.

    Mac: Oh, which one?

    PC: Any.

xD (note, someone else said this in the comments of a different Mac vs PC)

  • I'm not a racist or anything but i think the american one is the best

  • can't believe the mac US guy went on to do die hard and youth in revolt lol

  • GOD DAMIT PC'S ARE FUN ASWELL apple weren't very nice...i guess that's just being competitive i guess but jess, makes us PC users look like shit...makes me want to cry...

  • uk pc made me laugh.

  • thats the thing.. the UK pc, is very "likeable" wheras the guy who plays the UK mac, just comes across as an annoying twat.

  • just like in real life

  • Ha Ha Ha, Shinannigans and Tomfoolery, I love Dave Mitchell

  • ahahhaha)) but i think us version is better)))

  • This is so cool

  • webcams, microsoft office, and PC you can actually play good games like fps and stuff

  • Uk PC, cant afford a laser pointer, lol. I acutally like the pointer stick thing, it makes the PC seem primative, lol.

Also, is it just me or does the US and Jap Mac seem more relaxed then the Uk Mac?

  • hahaha the uk version rules!!

  • @kilaaaaa they're crap by every criterion that I can think of.

  • lol uk version says tomfoolery XD

  • @RevengeRider101

how can an os own an machine?

maybe you ment mac os , but snow leopard still owns windows 7 (vista sp2)

  • Great Video!

I love to see foreign commercials on the same thing!!!

  • japanese ver = best

  • uk isnt stuck up and stupid :(

  • hope it's not odd my favourite bit is when uk pc looks so happy he has a pointer and looks at the camera like 'oh yes i have a pointer'

  • lol its mitchel and webb! quality!

  • On the contrary, it's why I LOVE British people.

  • And you have just explained nicely why everyone thinks the U.S is full of ignorant twats who dont know their arse hole from their ear hole.

  • LOL Shenanigans and tomfoolery :D

  • lol the UK pc had a pointing stick haha xD

  • What ist strange: For me as German the US version looks and sounds much more natural and sypathic than the british.

How wolud a french version look like?

  • lmao. the holiday bit was hilarious.

us version: hang out time & kicking it

uk version: tomfoolery, shenanigans & high jinks

jap version: we are submissive, we don't have fun

  • hahaha xD reading this just made me laugh

  • its actually 'hijinks'... its 1 word :)

  • Us are best

  • unrealistic

  • I busted out laughing at 1:24 when he said the British slang for Hanging Out and Kicking It.

  • shananigans and tom foolery! :D

  • FYI, we dont really say anything like that :P

  • Speak for yourself! lol

  • lmao it's not slang mate, just funny words

  • thats not how we speak the joke is that thats how the very upper class taking themselves too seriously people with too much time spent worrying about money when they have enough speak

  • @JacktheSmack Just a note, we don't talk like that, that's just David Mitchell playing up his TV character of an outdated square.

  • @JacktheSmack Yeah, you know the British generally don't say that...unless you're from Kent...

    ...the posh toffs.

It's just that Mitchell (PC) is generally the old-fashioned, uncool one. Webb is always a bit of a twat/wanker/any other variation. Still love him though.

  • @JacktheSmack

well... they don't actually mean similar things... but they convey a similar message :P

  • @JacktheSmack i hope you dont start to think us british actually talk like that xD

  • @JacktheSmack thats not british slang for hanging out and just kicking it hes just ment to be a work-a-holic so they changed it a bit think about some work-a-holic wouldnt say hanging out oor just kicking it!" :P

  • @JacktheSmack Thats not really our slang, He was just playing a formal character. But it was still funny!

  • @JacktheSmack Sorry to break it to you but there is no way the British one is real; those are two comedians who have a show called the mitchell and webb look

  • @mattymanten The ad is real, David Mitchell (PC) and Robert Webb (Mac) were used for (about) 15 ads.

  • I speak both Japanese and English, and the Japanese ones aren't quite accurate with the English ones, but still pretty close.

  • they dont all have to be exactly the same...

  • The japanese one seems to be the best.

The american and British ads make the PC guy too sympathetic while the mac guy is a tool.

The Japanese PC looks like a smug bastard and I wanted to wipe that smug look off his face.

  • nah the uk ads are better

  • im english and the us ones are better

  • The UK is so funny! I love that guy!

  • why does he use a stick in the UK but a lazer pointer in the US and japan?

  • Because the UK is cooler

  • No idea but the stick works better on camera, its kinda hard to see the lazer

  • LINUX FOR EVERYONE

  • I'm American but I favor the UK version.

  • i love further dividing hijinks! i'm gunna buy a PC!

  • I was raised to talk a certain way which i mean the american accent english which i prefer over Uk english any day which a british person might feel the same way about their english. No english is better. Its just an opinion. If i was born n the Uk id know ill prefer Uk english vice versa towards a brit.

  • mitchell and webb!

  • It's saying basically Mac is for cool people who have a life and PC is for nerds and businessmen.

  • UK had the best script but i prefered the american actors

  • I really liked the extra touch the UK version had, though being the birth place of Monty Python, I am not surprised.

  • That was interesting to see the three versions put together, thanks for uploading ^__^ I love how PC and Mac are slightly different according to the country's sense of humour xD Go Brits! I love Mitchell and Webb :3

  • Have to say, totally though the british one was the best by quite a bit.

  • Actors aside, the UK version is by far the best (although I don't speak Japanese). More depth, more class, more comedy.

  • with you, plus I can speak japanese

Mac VS PC's just suited better for english

  • Seriously considering getting a mac. But im a pretty hardcore gamer, would that be the right move or should i just get a faster PC?

  • well, if you got the cash, you can configure the mac pro with the ATi Radeon HD 4850 (i think, all i know is it is a top end card) and the base one comes with a GTS 120 512mb (a die shrunk 9500gt). I think you should get a mac. The high resale value and long lifespan of a mac means it can pay for the difference between a pc itself.

  • No, definately not enough development in the games are on the mac platform. There is not as much choice of games on a Mac than on a PC.

  • I agree with what MasterMic007 said. I have a Macbook Pro and it can play new release (June 2009) high end games without a problem, but finding games that are Mac compatible can be tough. Still, an increasing number of popular games are now hybrid, so it if you're a gamer then make a list of the games you want to play and find out if you can get them on Mac, then decide.

  • It you're a hardcore or career gamer then you probably should stick with Windows and a PC. There are more options in terms of video cards and gaming peripherals, not to mention games. But if you're a more casual gamer or tend to use your computer for work and/or things like movies, graphics and websites then a Mac might be the way to go.

  • "4ghz ram" yeah, thinking ram is measured in hertz is the sign of a hardcore gamer -.~

two Nvidia Geforce 9550 cards +3.6ghz quad core + 8gb ram here, now thats hardcore

  • umm, yeah its called a typo, and I said 'if' you're a hardcore gamer, I never said I was

  • hahaha, i love it!== but im w/ pc...

  • 1:21 just proves how the British english language is so much funnier than the US version :P

US Version: Hangout times + 'Just kicking it'

UK Versions: Shinanigans and Tomfoolery + Hijynx + Capers, Monkey Business and 'jus' larking about'

    Classic XD

  • The Mitchell and Webb (British one) version is by far the best :D

  • wow thats cool i could understand what everybody said

  • The UK pie chart is funny. Monkey business and tomfoolery!

  • the UK 1 is the best by far

  • U guess Mac has to do all it can to make PC seem like the less fun computer since thats one of the key reasons people buy home computers for in the first place.

  • The comercial forgot GAMES and CHOICE TO PICK WHAT YOU WANT IN A PC!

    Thats why PC's rock.

  • you know what its all UK/US talk I say rock on Japan ;)

  • lol, the english accents are really funny. I love english accents.

  • i live in scotland and havent seen the uk ads.

  • Quite odd how Mac Infisizes that PC (Windows) Is not a fun computer, When Windows System has the most compatable games in the World...

  • "hang out time" and "just kickin' it" does not equate to 'shenanigans" and "tomfoolery" and "hijinks." "Larking about" is as close as they get since that just means "having fun." I kinda wish they'd used the US commercials in the UK as I think they tend to be funnier. I'd think they'd get that vacation = holiday.

  • It's not just about the individual word meanings, it's also about the humour - you say that you wish that Apple had used the US adverts in the UK because they are funnier - but with all due respect it's not about whether you think that they are funnier but whether the UK audience thinks this. As the actors in this advert are essentially portraying their characters from the Peep Show, a popular sitcom, the UK version will be funnier to most Brits and therefore I'm glad that the UK ones were made.

  • I knew Apple did their research before making new ads for the UK and figured they would be received better than the US version. But it's not as if people in the UK couldn't have seen humor in the US commercials. I can appreciate British humor as can many Americans. But, yes, I bet that any ad campaign that was popular in the UK would be changed if they brought it over to the US, too. I know how it works. I was just saying...

  • @wakebreakers - The use of words like "tomfoolery" and "hijinks" aren't used everyday in England, you do know that? They just add to PCs geekiness.

  • have you mac haters ever tried tu use mac? by saying to use i mean to use for a period of time? macs are just great...

  • I actually never tried one, but Ive heard rumors that they weren't good for business. Im not saying I dont like them though.

  • I don't want to use a computer that gives me absolutely no choice of upgrading it, has almost ZERO gaming power capabilities and almost no software for it.

I'll stick to using a 200$ PC that's dual booting a Windows and Linux.

  • if you want you can even add mac but whats the point...

  • good i fuckin hate macs

  • Lord I hate Macs .. T^T I know they are like almost virus less but lord.. They are re known for being business computers anyway .. But I still think this is pretty funny XD

  • *pokes own PC*

I personally prefer Macs...the layout and stuff of my PC is hard to use and overall everything feels cluttered (not to mention, kind of...clunky? There's something in the appearance of all sorts of applications that makes me feel ish, unlike in Macs).

I do love my HD screen, but otherwise...

    MACS ROCK!

  • 英語の勉強になります!

    (It becomes study of English.)

  • I love it.. "Shenanigans and Tomfoolery."

  • The US version is sorta better..but like british accents..and at the same time i love japan...

    xD
