thanks for the info. didnt know 4g32 was also used on galant/colt i have a 4g37 in my galant; and by the weight of the car's body it appears to me that the 4g37 is having a hard time already. i wonder how much more a 4g32 :)
it's 750-800 rpm but when radiator fan starts goes up to 1000. I had problems due to a very hacked mas and intake (lot of unmeassured air going in) but i fixed it with the apexi afc.
oh thanks. i have mine on 900-1000 this is because the radiator fan is always turned on(i live in the philippines - hot climate) alternator is oversized(perfect power 150amperes for the audio/sound setup. my water pump pulley was modified to the smallest(to make water flow very fast in circulation). yeah darn my engine load heavy. thanks for the reply mate.
Oh nice, now i´ll stop asking stupid questions.. :P It should be pretty simple thing to get abs and CE light to work. How did you make speed sensor information to ecu? or did you? :P
i didn't bother getting the lights to work because most of the times i got a laptop in the car(not when driving cause it turns the abs off). The speed sensor is connected to the ecu straight from the engine bay. I'd like to see some pictures of your ride sometime.
It wasn't the glsi either. it was a plain galant sold in greece with 1.6 carb engine but the ecu works fine with this rpm gauge. the only thing is that the check engine light, abs and a few more do not work.
isnt the lowest engine disp of these it 1.8 4g37 carb engine?

The smallest engine found in the Galant IV was the 4g32 a 1.6lt sohc carb engine. This galant was the E30a. The E31a and E32A had the 1.8 engine.

Strange, you have max rpm 8k and speed 220. My GTi has 9k and 240. :)

Yes it is strange because this is a modded car it wasn't a gti from the begining, it became one!!!

Another strange thing in that is i thought GLSi rpm gauge does not work with GTi ecu, because of different rpm signal. :)
