  • Thank you for posting this. Somehow I lost my DVD... very happy to still have this interview available.

  • Thanks so much for uploading. It's a great interview with what seems a very honest guy.

  • He did an awesome job on this Movie!

  • I love how he talks about the song being used in Boogie Nights. That scene can only be truly appreciated by Transformers fans.

  • anyone know mr dicola's twitter account if it exists?

  • Vince Dicola music in Transformers The Movie is a work of art. His music tells stories and when you heard his music he really tells a story.

  • @Terryfan

    Couldn't agree more.

  • @Agonysis Vince was the right man for the job

  • @cinemats Yes there is. On Rhino's release of Transformers The Movie.

  • man as if this guy needs an ego booster he is a god amongst men on that synth, how modest can you get.

  • Hmm, I wonder if this guy is somewhere in my family.

  • Dont be surprised - we love you vince dicola!

    you are very talented.

infact, i'll take a little risk and say, i dont think rocky 4 would have been such a success without your music.

  • This motivates me to want my son to take piano lessons as soon as he can. XD

  • You are the man!!!!!!

  • genius!!

  • this dude is one of the best

  • To be honest, I'm surprised DiCola's album, "Til all are one"(which is the score for the '86 movie) hasn't been re-released, especially now since it is the 25th anniversary of the Transformers.

There are a lot of fans out there that would buy it. (I know I would)

  • Wow...! Idol!!!

    He's the best soundtracks composer!!!

    I love Vince DiCola Songs!!!

I would wanna know what Synths, drums (what drums is used in Transformers Themes and who plays?) and equipment he used in Soundtracks works. Where can I find information about that?. Please, if someone know that, I will be glad to learn about that. :)

    NICE VIDEO

  • @dxman4 A drum machine is commonly used in the film score

  • @dxman4 The synth and drums are either the Synclavier or the Fairlight (you won't be able to buy either of them). Both are pretty hard to get good samples or VST's for. I think there is a fairlight refill available for Reason.

  • Thank you very much for his interview.

  • Vince Dicola rawks! I saw him at Bot Con in Fort Wayne, Indiana. His Falling off a Clef album is amazing. I am IN-VINCE-ABLE!

  • I was there too and I have to agree it was amazing. It was unbelieveable someone could build such a concert from the ground up, with two other people in 3-H Enterprises.
