Good thing you didn't get stuck in there, but those elevators travelled I would say around 175-200 FPM, which is the fastest speed for a hydraulic elevator.

Very loud motor! It just looks fast. Schindlers tend to be ahead of thereselves and take a long time to level.

Yes, and it was the valves that cancelled the motor when it leveled.
